Did you know right from wrong?

And went down in history as one of the greatest
Irish man that ever lived
He predicted it when he read the Irish Proclamation
On the steps of the world famous GPO
He was a man of many talents and full of ideas
It's sad to see such a fine fellow like that go
Whistling to his execution with a crucifix at hand
Ready to finally meet the Almighty God
The hour of his death was at hand
Patrick making peace with himself for what he and the others had done
Not regretting it not one bit he rather took it in his stride
And that is why P.H. Pearse died and Irish martyr's death
