The Twelve Days of Harry Potter
Harry Potter woke up one Christmas morning to find Dobby sitting on his chest, staring at him. He wondered if Dobby had been there watching him sleep, but then thought of the answer on his own.
"Harry Potter, sir. Dobby has a surprise for you!" squeaked Dobby in his elfish voice.
Not knowing what this surprise could be, Harry cautiously followed Dobby down to the common room. He was surprised at what he found.
Apparently Dobby had assembled all of the house-elves into a giant chorus, which filled all of the common room and one set of stairs. They were all wearing the same matching uniforms, made of stamped tea towels. Harry did notice, however, that Winky was missing from the group.
"Now everyone, remember what we practiced!" yelled Dobby.
And they began to sing.
On the first day of Christmas, Harry Potter gave to me, a snowy owl in a
birdcage. On the second day of Christmas, Harry Potter gave to me, two pairs of socks
