A Wreck It Ralph/Borderlands 2 story? I don't feel confident that I can take on such a crossover, so here's a little snippet.

There was darkness.

Then he opened his eyes.

There was white everywhere.

And then the white fog slowly faded away to reveal an endless plain of white snow. White snow. While piles of snow. White piles of rocks shaped like limbs...

The only thing that wasn't white was a yellow box. Oh wait, that box has a wheel and two rods that looked like arms.

"Great, another dead game character." The box-like robot grumbled. It grabbed a shovel and began piling more snow onto the mounds. "Handsome Jack's been busy..."

Handsome Jack. Game character. Dead.

Now it was coming back to him. Jack invited the games into his game. Then when they were in the train, robots ambushed them, and then Sargeant Calhoun had rushed out to the front of the train. When they followed her, they found a fake Jack and a lot of bombs, and...

No! They couldn't be dead. Placing his hands on the ground, the giant pushed himself up. The robot had just finished whatever it was doing and looked at him in surprise.

"You're not dead!? Great! My unit designation is CL4P-TP, but my friends call me Claptrap..." The robot looked on with glee. "Of course, they would if any of them were still alive, or had even existed in the first place..."

Wreck-It Ralph frantically looked around, ignoring whatever the robot was spouting. He then noticed a rather familiar blue cap sticking out of the ground. He pulled out the body of his friend Fix-It Felix Jr and gave him a waggle. No response.

"Come on, buddy, don't die on me!" Ralph looked for anything to fix him. Speaking of fixing, he found Felix's golden fixing hammer. Grabbing the relatively small tool, he raised it above his had and brought it down on his friend's head.

Just when Felix's eyes shot open. "NOOOOOO!"

"Look, I'm sorry, okay?" Ralph apologized as Felix straightened himself up. "I didn't know you only needed a tap to fix things...or to do it just once."

"Ah, no need to worry about that, Ralph." Felix fixed his hat into position. "Where are we anyway?"

Claptrap butted in. "You're in the game Borderlands 2: The Arcade, the arcade version of Borderlands 2! I bet you didn't know that."

"And where exactly are we IN the game?" Ralph asked.

"We are here...Ah, you mean where are we now. We're at the beginning of the game, which is usually where the Vault Hunters -they're the main characters- end up after they're exploded in the intro." Claptrap thought it over. " Which is odd, because the Vault Hunters like to spend time at Sanctuary when it's not game time, and it's not game time and you're not Vault Hunters. What are you doWAAAUGH!?"

Ralph traced the robot as it flew and landed in the water. "Not even a quarter-way to the rest of the rails. Looks like we have to go forward."

"Was that necessary?" Felix asked. "He sounded like a tutorial."

Ralph waved off the accusation. "Nah, he'll respawn. Besides, I doubt the little guy is going to start a robot revolution or anything."

So this is how the story goes:

Borderlands 2 gets installed into the Arcade, and Handsome Jack puts a PSA into Grand Game Central, announcing Opportunity (a city for their entertainment) and the New-U Stations (said to allow other game characters to respawn even when in a different game). Ralph and company are some of the few chosen to investigate these claims, but the train was rigged to be attacked.

Let's say that Handsome Jack in this fanfic is the same as in the game.
