"Get back here, Ezio!" Leonardo yelled, running out of the workshop after Ezio.
Ezio looked behind him and saw Leonardo running after him, a crazy look in his eyes.
"Leonardo! Tu sei pazzo!" Ezio exclaimed.
"Just give it to me!" Leonardo yelled.
Ezio ran faster and felt relief as he saw a small, dark space between two buildings.
He reached it and ran into it, stopping and catching his breath.
Just as he was ready to turn tail and start running again, something hard knocked into him and he fell onto the concrete.
Leonardo was on top of him, somehow pinning him down.
"Hand it over, Ezio," Leonardo said.
"Here!" Ezio exclaimed, thrusting the codex page to him. "Take it! Pazzo..."
Leonardo smirked and bent his head, briefly kissing Ezio's cheek.
"Grazi, mia cara," he said, getting up.
He brushed himself off and held his hand out to Ezio.
Ezio grabbed his hand and stood, laughing and shaking his head.
"You will be the death of me, giuro," Ezio said, his face flushed and humor in his voice.
The two slowly walked back to the workshop together, Ezio wondering how the hell Leonardo tackled and pinned him down, and Leonardo studying the codex page.
Yes, Leonardo sure loved those Codex pages.
