Swings
Jack Frost had a hollow smile as he watched the kids play in the snow from his perch in a weeping willow. After Jack had created the winter wonderland that morning, he had begun to look for someone who could see him but he had come up empty-handed. Now, he was alone, simply watching the kids play in his creation, ignorant to who made it for them.
*Smack!*
Jack's head snapped to the side as a snowball crashed and splattered on the side of it, his hand flew to his head, rubbing the throbbing pain away. Jack looked for the pitcher and saw a girl, looking at him innocently; she had brown hair and was wearing a pink snowsuit with white gloves, hat, and scarf.
"Hey mister, will you push me on the swing?" she asked, pointing to the swing set.
Jack looked around himself in surprise and then at the girl. "Me?" he asked, pointing to himself.
"Well who else?" she replied.
"I- Okay," Jack said and hopped down.
"My name is Paige," she told him.
"I'm Jack Frost," he replied.
Paige giggled. "I know," she said and brushed off the snow before sitting on the swing.
"Hold on," Jack said with a smile and pushed her.
"Wee! Higher, higher!" Paige shouted.
Jack couldn't help but laugh as he complied, pushing her higher and faster. They didn't notice, but a gentle wind was following them and snow had begun to fall, making them a true moment in a winter wonderland.
Jack laughed as he flew in front of Paige, using his staff to form a soft pile of snow. Paige laughed and jumped off the swing.
"I'm flying!" she cheered before landing. "Oof!"
Paige's head popped out and the two laughed joyously. Suddenly, Paige's parents called her over, saying it was time to go. Paige smiled and hugged Jack.
"Until next time Mister!" she called and left.
Jack smiled softly. 'At least there was one.'
The End!

I know, I know, kind of lame. It was my first one for RotG and it was all I could come up with. R&R please no flamer or I'll have to go to my dark corner and grow mushrooms.
