Chapter 1: My Arrival

Danielle's POV

I got off my plane from Vancouver and spotted my cousin who was apparently looking for me. I walked behind to him and put my hands over his eyes, "Guess who?"

"Uh," Craig acts as if he's thinking really hard, "Ok, I give up." he turns around and gives me a hug. "I missed you. How's Aunt Barbara and Uncle Mike?"

"There fine. Great." Ok, so I lied, but you wouldn't want to talk about your dad dying in an accident, but I'm happy. Craig is happy. It's happy time. No need to ruin it with bad news. "How's Uncle Joey?"

"He's good. Have you seen his commercial?" We started walking.

I laughed and said, "Yeah, it's hilarious. I'll give you the shirt off my back.' Priceless. So...what's Degrassi like?"

"Well, it's definitely not boring. Most of the people are nice. You should try-out for the spirit squad. You're fit, flexible, you have that preppy, cheerleader voice-"

I cut him off, "Guys get to see me in short skirts." Craig's sort of like that brother who very protective of you.

He said, "Hey, no guy is laying a hand on my little cousin."

I rolled my eyes and told him, changing the subject, "I'm hungry."

"We can go to the Dot."

"Ok." We got in his car and drove off. Craig and I made it to the Dot. After settling ourselves into a booth. I asked Craig, "Tell me about the people there."

"Ok. First, Emma. She's cool. She's a vegetarian. Her step-dad's a teacher there. She's been with Sean, Chris, and Jay...sort of." I gave Craig a confused look, but let him continue, "And she's like the future environmental crusader. Paige, she's the queen bee, head of the spirit squad..." I wonder if I should tell Craig. I man, I have to sooner or later, or Uncle Joey will tell him. I really hope the guys are hot there, but I just hope they aren't jerks like the ones back home.

Craig yelling my name interrupted my thoughts. "Dani!"

"Huh? Oh sorry."

A guy came to our table, "Hello, my name is Gavin, blah, blah, blah, can I take your order?"

We order get our food, eat it, and finish our last day before school around town.
