I've just been watching the film Antwone Fisher and when I heard his poem "Who Will Cry for The Little Boy?" I got a few ideas on converting it to show how Beast Boy feels about his Beast within. Note. I fully respect and admire Antwone Fisher for his determination and courage in facing such a traumatic upbringing and I in no way mean to steal his creative spark or besmirch his name, I just wish to show my respect by customising another poem from his (kind of like a cover or sampling in music) as proof of my admiration and therefore dedicate the following conversion to him. Enjoy.
Who Will Deny the Inner Beast?
Who will deny the inner Beast?
Running rampant and so wild,
Who will deny the inner Beast?
That scares me like a child.
Who will deny the inner Beast?
That haunts my darkest dreams,
Who will deny the inner Beast?
That causes all my screams.
Who will deny the inner Beast?
Who's trying to break free,
Who will deny the inner Beast?
That'll never let me be.
Who will deny the inner Beast?
From causing only pain,
Who will deny the inner Beast?
From getting loose again.
Who will deny the inner Beast?
The Beast that's hard to see,
Who will deny the inner Beast?
The Beast inside of me.
Hope you liked it, as I really enjoyed customising it. Again I would like to mention that this in no way is meant to offend and if for some reason it does I sincerely apologise.
