"I'd hate to see the other guy."
"What're you talking about?"
"That." Sam gestured at Dean's bloody knuckles.
"It's nothing."
"Nothing? Dean, your knuckles are shredded." He grabbed Dean's hand, managing a brief glance before Dean snatched it away.
"I said it's nothing."
"Dean, it looks like you lost a fight with a brick wall."
"Let it go, Sam."
"You can't punish yourself for what happened to Ellen and Jo, Dean. It wasn't your..."
Dean's icy glare halted his brother's lecture but did nothing to curb Sam's concern. Sam sighed, adding this to his growing list of worries about Dean.
