OKAY! I am sorry for the sappy fluff overload the past two days. When i get depressed, i love to write fluff to cheer myself up. I hope you don't mind, and I will give a cookie to the person who knows where this song is from!

Somewhere out there,
Beneath the pale moonlight,
Someone's thinking of me,
And loving me tonight.
Miles looked out his hotel window with a soft smile. Paris was beautiful in the winter. The lights and snow were a mixture that looked like a painting. He was missing something very vital to his enjoyment however.
Three days prior, his heart had been strained as he had taxied down the flight strip of the airport in California. The goodbye he had given tearing him apart quite throughly as he sat in his first class compartment.
That look on his face as Miles had slipped through the gate leading to the plane was almost unbearable. The honesty in his words however, when he had said "have a nice trip," were very obviously sincere, if strained.
Miles left he window and sank onto the plush, cream colored comforter of his bed. Letting his heart constrict.
"I wish I could have brought you with me, Phoenix,"
Somewhere out there,
Someone's saying a prayer,
That we'll find one another,
In that big somewhere out there
"Damn,"
Phoenix slouched onto his sofa with and glanced at the wind blowing outside of his window, rocking the leafless trees back and forth. They really didn't get a lot of snow here, but the wind could sure blow. That wasn't really what was bothering Phoenix though, the trees would survive. He ran a hand through his spiky hair with a sigh.
For the first time in his life, he really cared that he would be spending Christmas alone. Letting Miles walk through that gate had torn him up. Prosecutor's conference be damned. He really could care less. Phoenix let his eyes go up to the relatively clear sky beyond the window, and a smile splayed across his slips without warning.
"I wonder...if he is looking at the sky right now. I bet its snowing,"
And even though I know how very far apart we are,
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star,
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby,
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky!
Miles let his gaze drift over to the window again, the large flakes drifting across the pane. It was probably windy back at home. This snow was nice. I change from what he usually saw. He suddenly sat up, brushing the hair from his face.
"I wish you could see how big the sky is here Phoenix, I am going to take you here this summer," He declared to the empty room. Even though Miles wanted to feel lonely, far away, and lost; thinking of what Phoenix was up too was comforting. It was like they could be together even when they were miles apart.
"I guess no matter where you go...you're always with me," he muttered softly.
Somewhere out there,
If love can see us through,
Then we'll be together,
"I must care about him a lot or something," Phoenix said weakly, melting against the back of the sofa. No matter what, Phoenix knew he would always follow Miles to the ends of the Earth. He didn't know if that made him foolish or not, but he certainly knew he didn't care.
"I guess that must be why we found each other again though, if you really care enough..AUG! This is like a bad romance flick!" Phoenix shuffled his feet against the carpet in frustration, covering his face with his hands.
Somewhere out there,
Out where dreams
Come true...
Even though the two were separated, the distance could never matter. Somewhere, someone who cares about you is thinking of you. They knew it was only a matter of time until they would be brought back together. That is all you needs sometimes.
