Draco looked at the Weasley twins.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?"
"She'll love it," said Fred. George cut in. "But you have to do it right."
"First?" They said together.
Draco sighed. "First, I get up on the table and point at her and yell her name."
"During Potions!"
"Right, during Potions. Then I take her hand and twirl her out of the room," Draco said, nervously.
"And then?" Fred said.
"She'll ask what I'm doing, and I'll say it." Draco said, looking from one twin to the other. "Promise this will work? I'm not doing it if it won't."
"It's romantic," Fred said. George smiled, "And our brother is a git..."
"...for hurting her." They said together. Draco gulped.
"Alright."
Later
Slughorn smiled at the class. Draco looked utterly bored and Hermione was taking notes. Harry was studying his Potions book, like the good child he was. Just like Lily. However, his orange friend seemed to be sleeping.
"Who knows what this is?" he asked the class. Hermione raised her hand.
"It's Permanent Reciting Potion, right? Because it's that pearly blue?" Hermione said. He grinned.
"Good, 20 points to Gryffindor! Besides Ms. Granger," he said, winking at her. "What does this do?"
A boy in the back named Neville raised his hand. "Does it make you repeat one line over and over again?"
Professor Slughorn flourished. "Yes, it does! You're Sprout's boy, aren't you? Well, good m'boy. 15 points to Gryffindor!"
"Hey, Hermione!" Draco suddenly called. She looked up.
"Come here!" he said, getting up and taking her hand, twirling her out of the room. Harry looked up and flared and Ron woke up.
Hermione looked behind her at her friends but Slughorn didn't hold his breath. Finally, they got together.
"Alright, now, who can tell me what this one is?" Slughorn asked his class.
Lunch
"What the bloody hell was that, Hermione?" asked Ron, his mouth full of food. Hermione just smiled.
"Draco just needs something to help him. He's feeling quite unlucky lately."
She looked down at the note Draco left her after talking to her. She giggled.
I must have had some Felix Felicis, because I think I'm about to get lucky.
Hermione looked up at Draco, who winked seductively.
"I have to go," she said, smiling. Ron rolled his eyes.
"Why does she want him?" he asked, his mouth still full.
