I Summon You

"Hi." I say. But you and I both know that I want to say more. "Let's go." You whisper, and I follow right behind you. Its dark outside, but your inner light is radiating around me. You're spunky and you're sexy and you're everything I've ever wanted, but I can't help but still struggle to define this moment in time. "Cam." Your voice hushes against the silence and I feel my knees buckle. You're doing nothing but standing there and you're wearing me down.

We're both waiting. I cast a quick glance over your way; only to be mesmerized at the enticing angelic glow the moon has given your face. "You know, you can learn a lot about someone by just watching them." I say and you move your face closer to mine; the warmth from your lips hovering against mine. "What can you learn about me?" You question, your lips just inches away from mine. I put my hand on your soft cheek, as I lean in closer. My lips kiss yours, and the feeling is almost too much for me to handle.

You have me so sidetracked and all I can say is, "You're beautiful." The moment is innocent and beautiful and probably the riskiest thing you've ever done. In this second, you're not thinking about hockey or the team or anything but her; and the feeling is indescribable. "I can learn that you're fearless." I start. "Me, fearless?" You ask. "The way you look at me straight in the eyes." "It's like you are challenging me, and it's probably one of the sexiest things about you." Your lips curve into a cocky smile.

"I can tell that you're unsure." You say. "When you speak, it feels as though it's fluff." "I just met you Cam, and you're already so frustrating. "But lucky for you I like a challenge." "And that face you do, when you're over analyzing things like you are right now, it's probably one of the sexiest things about you." I can't but help let out a small chuckle. I lean in to kiss you again, and you feel so much closer to me than you actually are.

"What is this?" You say, your eyes staring through mine. Even though I'm so put together, I've never been more unsure of myself then now. But there's something about your encounter. There's something about the beauty of the moment. There's something about the rush of sneaking around and the feeling of her soft hair against your cheek. "This is everything." And she smiles. The wind is blowing the mixed emotions through the air and I reach for her hand. I interlock my fingers with yours. "Everything doesn't sound so bad." You laugh.

For this one moment, I summon you.
