As prompted by ktfranceebee, Kurtofsky – Fall.

Falling in love doesn't come with instructions. There isn't some nifty little handbook to reference or some checklist to go over, it just happens. Sometimes when you don't even want it to.

For Dave, admitting he was in love was one of the scariest things in the world. It meant admitting things that he wasn't ready to. It meant realizing what he had feared most. It meant losing so much. His reputation, his friends, possibly even his family. He just wasn't ready for that.

It would be worth it though. It would be all worth it because of him. Seeing him smile all week, knowing that he was the cause for all those smiles. It made Dave feel so much better, happier, than he had been in a long time. He felt good about himself; the rest of the world didn't matter so long as he was there.

Dave looked inside and saw him waiting looking around excited, looking for him. So with a deep breath, Dave put the mask back on and walked into Breadstix. Tonight was going to be perfect.

still have a ton more drabbles on the way, feel free to leave suggestions in reviews :)
