Get out? From here? How? And to where?
"Why?"
"You know the answer"
Hana was wright. When I first found her in the egg, she warned me not to gel along with my classmates. Told me not to trust them because in the end, they would leave me. I've never thought Hotaru would betray me like this. She was the damn reason why I joined this academy in the first place. And now she wasn't even saying a word for my sake.
I felt tears forming again but I wiped them away. It was good thing that Natsume protected me, just like he always did. And it didn't hurt that much. I knew it would happen but never thought it would be so soon, so it caught me off guard
"You are right, Hana, as always. We should just get out from here"
Call me selfish but at the moment I wished I could simply teleport outside the gates. I didn't even thought about taking Natsume or telling him about it. The only thing in my mind was escaping. I was lucky that I didn't tell anyone about my new Alice. I was being watched because of the Nullification but if the word got out about the Stealing one I would be in the trouble. I quickly got out of the classroom and returned to my bedroom. I emptied the beg and out some clothes Hana had handed to me in it. There were also some book about Magic and Alice I got from the library and I packed them too. Since I found Hana's egg and learned about Magic, I wanted to know everything about it.
Hana opened the window. I couldn't climb down the four floor. i wasn't as skilled as Natsume, but Hana transformed into her Exceed from. Her white wings grew from her back. She grabbed my jacket and raised in the air. She flew through the window and up to the sky.
"Fly a little higher, Hana, I'll nullify the barrier"
"Alright"
She flew higher and I got a good view of the place I lost my family to. I watched as little children played in the garden. The strict teacher looking after them. I couldn't see if Yoichi Hijiri was among them or not but I suspected he was too cool to play like a kid. I smile at the thought.
"Mika! The barrier!"
I looked ahead and noticed the barrier that separated an Alice world from the rest. I took deep breaths and released my own Alice
"A little faster, Hana! We've only 30 seconds!"
"I know! Max Speed!"
Hana flew faster than wind and somehow we managed to leave the academy behind. We flew above the forest and after minutes, I noticed she was slowing down
"Hana, drop me!"
"What?! I can't do that!" she yelled down
"You are out of power. We'll both fall down"
She let go of my jacket and her wings disappeared. We fell from sixty meters high. I closed eyes and called out
"Requip! Flight Armor!"
My clothes changed into the black armor. I caught Hana and using my own wings, flew down on the ground
"How are you doing?" I asked softly. She opened eyes and smiled
"Just out of Magic. Everything else is fine"
I stroked her head
"Rest now"
She climbed on my head
"Requip!"
I changed into the white blouse and black jeans. I found the bag that was a few yards from us. It was time when I felt something that sent chills to my whole body. the energy so dark and strong, it caught my breath
"What the hell is that?"
All of a sudden I saw the black tornado or something that pulled me in the air. I grabbed Hana and the bag tighter
"I don't know!"
Soon we were absorbed by the power and I passed out
Slowly opening my mouth, I sniffed and threw my hands to my head. It easily hurt like Hell. I opened the eyes. The sun almost blinded me but after minutes, I could see the green forest and blue sky above me
"Miki! Finally, you are awake!"
I saw the salmon furred cat sighting with relief" I've been trying to wake you up for late two hours"
"We are in the middle of the forest" I ignored her and stated
"Yes"
"So this strange energy didn't absorb us"
"No, it did"
"It did? So it wasn't a dream?"
"Yes and we are no longer in Japan, I can tell you that much"
"No Japan?!" I jumped up "what do you mean No Japan? Where are we?"
"Anima absorbed us and we were teleported here"
"Here as in?" I raised the brows
"I don't know. This place is strange"
"I gotta see it myself" I stretched and looked at her from my shoulder" and what the hell is an Anima?"
Hana almost face palmed
"Seriously, Mikan, you are hopeless" she sighed "we already had this conversation before. An Anima is Magic Spell that absorbs the wizards and teleports them to another dimension"
"Now it makes sense. Requip: Balck Winged Armor!"
I flew above the trees and checked the territory around us. We weren't in Japan, that was for sure. This place was something between 21st and 15th centuries. It was seriously strange. At the horizon I noticed the town
"We are going there" asked Hana when I pointed towards it
"We can find out where we are"
"You better de-transform"
"Right"
I flew down and changed into the earlier clothes. Hana grabbed my blouse and flew towards the city. We soon arrived at the entrance of the town. I noticed the old-fashioned train and the people around looking happy. The talking into groups and minded their own businesses. We followed one of the roads. It wasn't full of people, just strange group of strange teens. The scarlet haired and armored woman with a sword on her side and the blue skirt was talking with the other tow girls. First one was a little kid about 12, with the dark blue long hair in to pigtails. The second, who was blond, was wearing the blue top with the heart on it and brown skirt with boots. She had a pitiful expression on her face. They weren't alone. the shirtless and raven haired guy was fighting with the salmon haired lad. Above them were flying white and blue Exceeds.
I looked at Hana who had never met anyone from her race. She didn't even acknowledged them and just stared ahead. I surpassed the smile and headed towards this strange group. The girls noticed me and stopped chatting. The boys almost crushed into them
"Natsu! Gray!" the red haired hissed "stop fighting right now"
Surprisingly the boys hugged each other and shouted in perfect unison
"Aye sir!" then glared at each other.
The blond girl asked me
"Umm.. can we help you?"
I looked ah her and asked back
"Can you tell me what city is this?"
"You don't know?" she raised the brows in surprise
"We just want to know what country and the city are these" explained Hana.
Before the blond could answer, the salmon haired guy rushed to me
"Are you a Dragon Slayer?" he exclaimed with sparking eyes and goofy smile. The shirtless grabbed his scarf and snarled
"Don't jump at unknown people, flame brain!"
"What did you call me, ice princess?"
The boys sent each other deadly glares and prepared for fighting
"Natsu-san, Gray-san, there's no need to fight (A/N: is this even correct sentence?)" begged the little girl.
The shouting and insulting annoyed me too. I didn't want to involve myself into something but these two were causing trouble and headache. I grabbed their arms and using Wind Alice Stone, I threw them in the river. The blue Exceed that was watching us quietly now yelled
"Natsu!"
The girls sweat-dropped at their actions. The red haired put the hand on my shoulder and nodded in approval
"Now that they can't interrupt us, I can tell you we are in Magnolia City, in Fiore"
"The Magic Country" whispered Hana. Looked liked she knew this place. I thanked them and began walking away
"Let's go, Hana" she caught up with me but the white cat stopped us
"Wait! If she.." she pointed at me "isn't the Dragon Slayer, then why are you with her?"
Hana frowned
