A/N: They're adorable, m'kay? I couldn't help it. This was originally posted on Tumblr, from my side blog, but I also wanted to post it here, so..voila? I'm sorry for the briefness of it, I just couldn't find anything else to add. But I might try to whip up more fics of them since they're steadily rising as my OTP. R & R, please? It'd really help. ^-^

Disclaimer: I don't own KH or any of its characters, it belongs to Square-Enix and partially to Disney, I suppose.

It is white.

A vast, empty space void of any speck of color. It is cold, an oppressive chill hangs over the place like an omnipotent warning, speckling her arms with gooseflesh and drawing her arms around her torso in an effort of comfort. She does not miss the irony.

But the other occupant of the room seemed to add a certain dawn of joy that eased her initial discomfort. Soon enough, she finds herself less guarded and just a bit more open, the occasional flare of a foreign emotion (could she even feel them?) tugging at her chest whenever they'd burst into laughter as the tension around them dissipated to a more comfortable degree.

Up until the moment, Naminé had not known Nobodies could dream, let alone visualize a place so tantalizingly real that she was almost tempted to believe that the boy before her was not a figment of her imagination, something her subconscious conjured up as a balm to soothe the jagged edge of solitude.

But this boy, this Ventus-call-me-Ven, is just so full of vivacity, that she is swayed to believe him real. There is life in every little action he does; the wild wave of his arms as he recounts a thrilling tale, or the constant tug of his lips in a smile so wide it is like she can feel her own cheeks sting in an echo of returning the gesture.

She finds that does not mind his company at all.
