Summary: Riley's favorite cow betrays him, and its up to the AI gang to make things right.

Spoilers: This takes place during Angel, but Buffy and the Scoobies have all moved to La, and Riley moved back to Iowa. Buffy and Angel also reunited.

Riley's Betrayal

In the land of corn and cows, Riley frollicked through the field singing about Jack and Jill. He saw Bessie in front of him and skipped over to the cow, and right before he got over to Bessie he tripped and fell in a cowpie and he landed face first into the pile of crap and started to cry.

"Bessie why'd you do that for" he asked through tears and she glanced back at him dumbly" I knew that would pay off someday" she thought laughing inside. Riley laid there on the ground and continued to cry and Bessie kicked him in the head and ran off mooing to L.A. to get some help from A.I. in the search to get rid of Riley. She was running down the interstate to the Hyperion and she crashed through the doors and a surprised Connor looked back at the cow , who began to 'moo' her head off in the lobby of the hotel. "Dad" Connor yelled, surprised, and Buffy and Angel came out of Angel's room and entered the lobby.
"What's going on" Angel asked. Buffy looked down oddly at the psychotic, hysteric cow and asked "Should i slay it" The cow began shaking its head vigorously and Buffy laughed out loud and the called Willow into the room to interpret what the cow had said. The Redheaded witch listened to the cow, and gave an"oh no" before passing out. Suddnely Spike entered, and listened to Bessie's story he also spoke cow, and saw what was happening and headed out to Iowa to help Bessie. He caught a plane to Iowa and landed in the middle of a corn field, Bessie and Spike and jumped out of the plane and ran to Rileys farm to take care of the stupid fish boy. When, the reached the farm, Spike could sense that Riley was no longer a human. He began to interrogate Riley and since Riley is such a wuss that didnt take long, he said that he was one of the fish demons (From Go Fish!) and Professor Walsh had somehow helped him look mildly less fishy and then Spike stole all of Rileys corn power, along with his fish power, and shoved a railroad spike through his head to rid the world of the last of the corn/fishy demon things or at least Riley cause who would want that.. and headed back to A.I. to finally try to overtake Angel and get Buffy back (well they were never really together, thank god! Spike just hallucinates alot).

Anyway, when he got back to A.I. Angel and Buffy were sitting together kissing softly on the mushroom poof in the lobby, and Spike tried to unleash his power. He failed miserably, and Bessie followed him in and Angel got up off the chair thing and went to the weapons cabinet and got out his favorite broadsword and sliced off Spikes head where he turned to popcorn instead of ash and Bessie ate the popcorn while Buffy and Angel stared at Bessie disgusted, and then he turned into Doyle "God, I could go for a cup of ale" he said, and then started to explain when he saw the strange looks Buffy and Angel were giving him. "I was sent to defeat the evil people hindering you Spike and Riley were evil, thanks for killing them and as your rewards the gypsies have made your soul stationary, enjoy" He concluded, and then a thought struck him"Where's 'Delia" he inquired, looking around the lobby for the teen queen. Angel pointed up the stairs, still a little dazed by Doyle's news, and his presence. "I'll go find her and maybe we can pick up where we left off" Doyle said, giving Angel a wink before bounding up the stairs. A few seconds later, Buffy and Angel followed to test out their reward.
