Not Anymore

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto.

A pink petal flickered in the wind, floating gently around him. He thought it odd to see such a blossom for there were no cherry blossom trees in the area.

Slowly he reached out and grabbed the thing before it could dance away from him again, a frown graced his features, for a moment, he was no longer the stoic ice cube others tended to see.

It was odd, he mused, how a single blossom could remind him of so much, remind him of things he had long buried and wished to forget.

Reminded him of a dimwitted blond and a childlike rosette and an old man who had more secrets than he let on.

Reminded him of friendship and happiness.

Of love lost so long ago.

And a tinge of regret.

He opened his palm and the blossom lay there, slightly crushed, not as perfect as it had been when he had caught it...

Yet it was still as delicate as she had once been.

It was still beautiful.

He let the wind carry it away.

Watched it disappear as he buried his memories of a time so long ago once again.

A time lost to him now.

A time he forced himself not to dwell on.

Instead, he put one foot in front of the other.

There was no going back for him, not now.

Not anymore.

So yeah, I wrote this on my phone. Sometimes things come to me and I need to write them down and since my laptop decided it wanted to be a butt and stop working, I relied on my phone. For everything. Except for food. And toilet paper. And clothes... Okay, maybe not everything.

Anyway, I wanted to focus on Sasuke, I don't think I've done something serious in a while, and I don't think I've ever written from Sasuke's P.O.V. EVER so, yeah it's a bit (maybe a lot) AU but hey, you never know what he's been thinking.

Oh and I hate Google Docs. Ugh, don't even get me started on this. It's not Microsoft and it's just so weird!

Review, let me know what you think please, I'm kind of apprehensive on whether or not I like this. I might tear it down later.
