Disclaimer: No one belongs to me.

Pairing: Hermione/Ginny

AN: This is my first fiction when it comes to Harry Potter so please tell me what you think about it. I usually only write Mutant X slash, but got carried away when I read some slash fics about girls from Harry Potter. It's just a short one, kinda like a drabble and I wrote it in like 10-15 min. so don't kill me if you think it's bad.

Oh, I almost forgot, please tell me if you want me to continue…

"Hi Ginny." Hermione said as she walked into the common room and found Ginny writing in a book.

When Ginny saw Hermione she quickly closed the book she was writing in and tried to hide it.

"What are you writing on?" asked Hermione curious.

"Nothing." Ginny started to blush and Hermione placed herself in front of her.

"What were you writing in?"

"My diary." Ginny answered and turned even redder.

"Really? Are you interested in someone? Is it a boy?"

Ginny looked away. "There kinda is someone."

"Who?"

"It's a secret."

"Which secret?" said Ron as he came in with Harry closely following.

Hermione turned to them with a vicious smile.

"Ginny has been writing in her diary about a crush she has and she won't let me see it."

"Really?" Ron said with a smile of his own. "Maybe we need to take a look at that diary."

Ginny got up from the chair and tried to run away, but was caught by Ron, who quickly grabbed the diary.

"Give it back." Ginny said angry.

"I don't think so." He threw it to Hermione who looked it up at the last page.

"Don't read." Ginny said with fear in her voice and tried to take the book back, but was held by Ron.

Hermione just smiled as she started reading, but her smile quickly faded. She started blushing and closed the book. She walked over to Ginny and let her have it back. Ron let her go and Ginny stormed off towards her room with tears in her eyes.

"What did it say...Hermione?"

"Huh."

"Who was it?"

"Oh, it was no one…Excuse me." She started to run after Ginny, leaving two confused boys.

When she got to Ginny's dorm she stopped and carefully knocked on the door before peaking inside it.

"Ginny?"

She heard someone crying and felt how her chest started to tie out of guilt. She knew she should never have looked in the diary and felt responsible for the younger girl's pain.

"Ginny," she said again as she walked silently into the room. She noticed that there were other girls in the room, but they were all sleeping.

She walked over to Ginny's bed and opened the curtain to find Ginny sitting against the wall with her hands around her legs.

She carefully got into the bed and sat down beside her.

"I'm really sorry, I know I shouldn't have read in your diary and I didn't mean to make you sad."

She wiped away the tears and kissed Ginny carefully on the cheek.

Ginny looked at her with surprise.

"I liked what you wrote," Hermione whispered before kissing her on the cheek one more time.

"Really?" Ginny looked at her with disbelief. "So you're not freaked out or anything?"

"No, like I said, I liked it." She gave her a reassuring smile and took her hand in her own, intertwining their fingers.

Ginny laid her head on Hermione's shoulder and they sat like that for a while.

"It's getting late," Hermione suddenly said. "We need to get some sleep."

"Can you sleep with me?" Ginny started blushing as she said it.

"I want to be close to you."

"Sure." Hermione smiled and they both lay down in the bed.

Hermione laid her arm over Ginny's waist so she could pull her closer and snuggled against her back.

Soon they both fell asleep with a smile covering their face.
