The choice
Chapter 1 School!! I'm late!!
Saruna Hokano Woke to the sound of her eight year old little brother's crying. She groggily got out of bed and looked at her calendar noting that she only had three days until the exam that would determine if she became a ninja or not. After coming out of that thought she looked at the clock [7:15. Huh, School starts at 730. That took only a moment to sink in. I'm going to be late Saruna cried in horror.
Saruna quickly put on her clothes. Then she summoned her pet Pop with a click of her tongue. Pop is a sarunoke they cat like creatures that are usually only owned by ninja black ops. The only reason she has one is that Pop wasn't black like the rest of her species. She was a dark blue with red triangles on her tail. They were ninja pets because they could sense chakra levels and coming dangers.
After putting on her gear she ran past her brother's shared room and skidded into the kitchen. She only stopped long enough to grab onto a nutribar for breakfast before running out of her 4th story apartment and into the hall. She rounded the corner and sprinted to the platform with pop planted firmly on her shoulder. She barreled down the stairs and right into her 18 year old brother Dishere.
Watch it Saruna scolded Dishere! You watch it bro replied Saruna angrily. I have school! Who cares Dishere rudely? OH mister black op is cranky today she purposely thought out loud. Nice necklace commented Saruna sarcastically referring to the eerie jewel on his neck. Oww winced Saruna noticing Pop's claws digging into her shoulder. He was staring at the jewel with a blank expression. Saruna clicked her tongue to awaken pop out of his trance. Pop awoke and looked scared for a moment then streaked to the door and onto the road.
Pop had wandered into an abandoned part of town. After catching and scolding Pop she thought about Dishere. He was always dark clad and arrogant. But he was acting weird and what was with that creepy necklace. Even Pop was acting weird around him. A clock going off above her aroused her from her thoughts. I'm going to be late she realized for the 2nd time that morning. She decided to take a shortcut through the twisting abandoned streets and dark and mysterious ally way. Brilliant move!!!!!!
