AN: I wrote this English. The assignment was to write a short Halloween story. I thought putting a little Star Wars twist into it would be fun and humorous. Please R&R!
A LONG TIME AGO IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY...
I t was Halloween night, and all the little Jedi trainees were getting ready to trick-or-treat. They were all loading up the ships, dressed their Halloween best, getting ready to go from planet to planet.
"I'm ready to eat some candy!" exclaimed Jacen, one of the little trainees.
"You're always ready to eat something", said Jaina, his twin sister, "I like my costume."
"Yeah, an Alderaanian princess. Just like mom. VERY original", he shot back.
"Well you're an alien with a pumpkin for a head! What kind of costume is THAT?", Jaina questioned.
"A good one", Jacen answered.
Jaina rolled her eyes. She and Jacen walked onto the ship with the other trainees. They sat in silence, unlike the other excited kids around them.
"You'll see when we get to Couruscant", Jacen said, "Everyone will like my costume better."
"Sure", Jaina mumbled under her breath.
They would soon find out.
When Jacen and Jaina arrived at Couruscant, they raced to the first door. A teenage girl answered it.
"Trick-or-treat!" exclaimed Jacen and Jaina as they held out candy bags.
The girl handed a piece of candy to each of them.
"Oh, an Alderaanian princess! That's so cute!" the girl said, "But a pumpkin headed alien? What kind of costume is that?"
"Told you, Jacen!" Jaina said mockingly.
