Once upon a time...
"Good luck, Guy! We're cheering for you!" Jenro the fire tactician said to Guy, who was about to enter the arena.
"Yeah! You can do it!" Matthew said, waving a "GUY U ROCK" flag all-around the coliseum.
The others were cheering for him at the audience, too. Florina was biting her fingernails and eventually fell down to Bartre's arms, and she fainted. Bartre just hugged her tight. Serra was talking nonsense again. Lucius was massaging Raven's back. Priscilla was...well...gone, and Sain was gone. Hector was bored, and the others were just waiting for Guy.
Then, the moment they've all been waiting for is about to begin. Everyone paused from their actions (except Priscilla and Sain, who Wil the watch tower found in a house just beside the arena), and all their eyes glued to Guy.
The arena music played. Guy was trembling with fear. It was his first time to fight in the arena. Then, out came his enemy...
A level 16 mercenary!
"G-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-gaSPP!" Guy shouted (he's only level 8), but he regained his composure, and held unto his Iron Sword.
"Hey, buddy." The un-generic mercenary said to Guy, smiling in a boyish way, "I see you're new to this arena, huh?"
"I...I guess so..." Guy said.
"THEN THAT MEANS THAT DAMN GOLD IS MINE NOW AND I'M GONNA WIN THIS EASY NooBISH MATCH GWA HA HA HA HA HA!!" the un-generic mercenary shouted, and sliced Guy in half.

"This is weird!" Guy shouted. He remembered something...right before he died, he caught a glance at Jenro the tactician, making a right, up, left, left, down move. But he didn't really know what it is.
"I can change anyone's fate." he heard Jenro the tactician say a lot of times before.
Did it just happen to him?
"Hey, you!" Guy's enemy said, but this time, he was now a pirate, "I saw you fight! Fargus' Pirates rule!!"
"Hey, you're a pirate!" Guy said, smiling, "This means I could win! Hiyaahh!!"
Guy made a 7 critical hit, and he defeated the pirate! Everyone cheered for him, and he just won 1380 gold!!
The army went to him and Dorcas and Bartre lifted him and threw him in the air. The others were there too, happy for Guy.
"Hey, put me down! Bartre!! I'm gonna fall!!" Guy said, and Bartre put him down, and they all cheered for Guy.
The mystery of Jenro's fate changing and his right, up, left, left, down move remained a mystery, though. Guy thought it was creepy, but it saved his life...yeah, it saved his life.
