Summary: The club is slowly recovering, as are the rest. A vacation is planned, but goes terribly wrong and what will Mori do to get them away from danger? WARNING! Graphic depictions of blood and violence. Reader discretion is advised.
A/N: So, I finally decided to get off my happy bum and get this sequel rolling. Are you guys proud of me now? (*Mild anime themes playing in the distance.*) .3. I totally didn't brush stuff off for anime. Lolnope. ^^;
Anyways, this is just a little bit to get it going. Kinda like a prologue. If this goes strong like the other, the third and final will also be a thought.
It was annoying, but as the rose petals fell yet again that week, it was good to be back into a routine. Well, at least as much as could be expected for the hectic group.
"I've planned a trip to America!" The blond grinned from ear to ear as he stated this fact, getting a sigh of exasperation from the rest. "What? I thought it sounded cool. The mountains, forests, and cool wildlife like bears!" To emphasize the point he held up the famous teddy. Hikaru grabbed it.
"What's so ferocious about this?"
"Yeah boss, I don't think that's a normal bear. It's too soft and plush to be that." Kaoru chimed in.
"In other words, you're being ridiculous." They both said simultaneously shrugging together and leaving him crushed.
"Well, I've never been to America. And I think wolves are pretty cool..." Haruhi didn't mean to speak out loud as she pondered, but when she looked up, violet puppy-dog eyes were in her face. "AH!" Her arms windmilled before she fell back in the chair. "Senpai, did you ever hear of personal space?"
"Woops, sorry about that." He chuckled, pulling her to her feet. "I didn't mean to surprise you. But you really think it's a good idea? I mean, I thought it'd be a great way to get everyone's mind off of-" She shoved a hand over his mouth, expression dead-panning.
"Yes, I think it's a great idea too, Tama-chan." The smallest of the group smiled warmly from his seat beside Mori. A little glob of frosting was on his nose and Mori reached over with a napkin, wiping it off.
"You should eat a little more carefully." The tallest one said, cool expression still humanly soft. Honey grinned.
"Alright Mori! Just so long as you get me the rest of the strawberry cake!" He giggled, kicking his legs a little. Kyoya wrote something down in a notebook.
"Then I guess it's settled. I'll be sure to let the girls know so they don't arrive to find it empty on their own." His critical voice held everyone's attention before Tamaki was once again bounding around.
"I just can't wait now! I mean it was so bad just a while..." He dropped off, stopping. Everyone kinda looked at him deadpanned and he sighed. "I..." Feeling bad for him, Haruhi let out a groan and stepped over beside him and hugging him.
"Senpai, shut up. You don't need to keep talking about it at the wrong times." He nodded and the happy atmosphere was once again a little less happy. This had been how it was for a while. The whole club had found it challenging to actually use their experience to bring in extra revenue. Least of all Mori, who although he didn't look any different, there were things that everyone had noticed about him.
He had been talking quite a bit more and trying harder to get to know the girls better. Almost like he realized how close he had come to losing everyone and himself. Honey had also been able to hide most of it, but Mori had become much more clingy to him, almost never leaving him alone until he nearly had to yell for it. They had all gone to counseling, and Honey was still on medication to help him stay healthy.
A vacation is really what they needed. To get out and relax.
