Okay I have no idea where this is coming from.. but that is okay.. So anyway.. um.. enjoy this thing that I created...

"We are here in memory of one of our students- Lelouch Lamperouge."

The monotone voice of one of the professors boomed through the huge auditorium. This was supposed to honor the memory of the schools most interesting student, not soil it.

Lelouch. Lulu. Gone.

Standing next to Lelouch's sister, hearing her sobs, would cause anyone to break down, to sob with her,

But not him. He stood, completely still. He seemed completely disconnected from the world, like he didn't see all the crying girls who had worn black dress for this occasion instead of their typical uniforms, like he didn't see all the downcast eyes, like he didn't see the teachers who were doing their best not to cry at the loss of their favorite student.

"Lelouch was not the most hard-working student, but we all knew he had a future ahead of him. The loss of one of the smartest boys in our school will affect all of us hard, but we must learn to live on. Lelouch would want it that way."

Several students nodded along with the voice. But what would Lelouch really want? Only one truly knew, only one was told. Not his sister, not his friends, not one of the crying girls. Just him. Just him. The one who was disconnected.

"Now Lelouch seems to have known of his poor health, since he wrote a will, to leave things for his loved ones."

Sweet Lelouch. Sweet, smart, perfect Lelouch. So much better than most thought of him, than most knew, than most wanted to know. But only one knew. He did- he knew.

"I have his will here, and I would like to read it out to all of you. If you hear your name, then please come up."

The disconnected one looked up. Perhaps he was more aware of what was going on than one would have deemed at first glance.

"Alright, lets begin. To my dear Nunally, I leave you all the money that I have. Do not worry dear sister, that will last you for much longer than you may think." A pause. "Um, Nunally you do not have to come up for that."

The disconnected one looked down, shielding his eyes once again.

"To the members of the student Counsel- I have lest each of you a box with the items for you inside them. Kallen- to you the red one. "

One of the girls stood and walked to the front and took the box from a pretty female teacher. She opened it, stared at the contents and burst out crying. As she took her seat, the disconnected one looked at the box. The words 'don't give up' were written in Lelouch's beautiful handwriting. Next to it, a decorative key to some sort of a machine.

"To Milly, the yellow one. To Rivals, the orange one. To Nina- the green one. To Shirley- the black one."

They all stood and took their box. None of them had as big a reaction as Kallen, but looked pleased with their gifts nonetheless.

"To Suzaku- I leave the white one. You will understand it."

The disconnected one stood, and walked to the front. The women at the front handed him a small box, as small as his hand. The disconnected one, Suzaku, opened it. He stood still. Time stopped. He stared. Then- he smiled.

Suzaku looked up, just in time to see a shadow flicker, then disappear outside. The disconnected one lit up, almost started glowing. He started walking. Down the steps, through the room, out the door, down the steps, and into welcoming arms.

Suzaku, no longer disconnected, dropped the box, and left with his savior.

Inside the box, surrounded by purple velvet, lay a single chess piece.

For he would be the only one to understand it. And he did.

Oh God. Wow. Well who would have thought. Anyways, I thought it was cute.. So tell me, what did you think?
