A/N: Just a little one shot for baby's first Christmas. I really need to name this character. I just get so torn. Feel free to leave suggestions

All was quiet as the snow continued to fall to the ground. Bruce rolled over, used to being awake at such an early hour. He turned over to find his lover also wake, up from bed and sitting by the window. The moonlight illuminated the large bedroom, making it easy for him to make his way to here. She smiled contently, rocking the tiny infant in her arms that had just made her way into the world a few days before….the solstice….their holiday had brought them together, bringing into the world this tiny life. Bruce felt his breath catch as he watched the newborn stir, making tiny gurgles as she opened her eyes. He saw the same brilliant blue he woke up next to every morning and just fell in love all the harder and all over again. Little hands reached out, grabbing her mother's finger tightly. She was so small, and yet so strong. Her cheeks were a perfect shade of pink. Tuffs of black hair could be seen from under the blanket she was currently swaddled in. She was everything. She was perfect.

"Did we wake you?" Diana smiled down at the little girl with such love. It was an amazing thing to behold. Bruce didn't think he had ever seen his princess so serene and at peace as he did in this moment. Their daughter was so intently focused on her. The love between them so immeasurable. He never would have imagined this for himself.

Bruce gently rubbed the little girls head, amazed at how baby soft her hair was. He had never been around a baby this small before. He had never had a little girl before. He felt so nervous around her, and yet she seemed to reach out toward his voice, "I'm just always up this early…..I guess our little princess is too."

"Well she certainly was a night creature before she was born, so it wouldn't surprise me if she still is. Besides, it's Christmas. I think she is just excited for her presents," Diana gently kissed her child's forehead, causing more gurgles and coos.

"She doesn't know what Christmas is yet. And I doubt she'll be too interested in the presents," Bruce shook his head, noting that Diana had already dressed her in her red onsie pajamas that read Momma and Daddy's perfect present. He hadn't expected Diana to take to the holiday's so much, but she really loved the gift shopping and the baking.

"Says the Grinch," Diana chuckled, causing Bruce to pout before rolling his eyes, "Admit it, it's been a great Christmas."

Bruce shook his head, kissing her softly on the lips, "I have everything I could ever want right here."
