"Blue," Rose Malfoy née Weasley murmured setting down the magazine she was reading on her stomach as she glanced up at her husband silently asking him for his opinion.

"Hmm?" Scorpius Malfoy asked momentarily looking away from the book he was reading to glance down at his pregnant wife perplexed. "What are you talking about, dear?"

Blue, I think we should paint this room a light blue," she answered rolling her eyes in a manner quite similar to that of her mother when she was annoyed for her father for not catching on to something very obvious.

"I think we should repaint the entire house actually," she said struggling to sit up on her own due to how far along she was. At seven months pregnant the former Quidditch player was not as agile as she used to be nor was she happy about that fact.

Scorpius simply nodded knowing it was best to just agree with her when she started to babble. Rose failed to notice and continued to ramble on about paint changing her mind at least three or four times and starting over all over again. "...Maybe the kitchen we should leave white and then I think we should paint the nursery lilac."

"Sounds lovely, dear," he nodded no longer paying attention to a word his wife was saying as he had gone back to reading his book. "Wait a minute lilac?! Do you know something I don't? Did you find out the sex of the baby and not tell me? I thought we agreed that we would wait until the baby is born to find out the sex!"

Rose shook her head and took a hold of her husband's hand gently squeezing it in hope it would both reassure and calm him down. "I didn't find out the baby's sex. I promised I wouldn't ask about it and I intend to keep that promise just like every other one I've made you. If it's that big of a deal though we'll paint the nursery yellow and use the lilac paint I already bought for our room, okay?" she asked pressing a gentle kiss to the blonde's lips.

"Okay," he nodded smiling softly at her having now calmed down. The redhead nodded back in response laying back down again going back to flipping through her magazine. Scorpius could not help but chuckle as he picked up his book settling in for a relatively calm and relaxing evening.
