I wrote this shortly after I realized that the guy I adored and loved was not interested in me. So I dedicate this to all the people who have been hurt by love's deepest emotions. And now on to the story!
You don't see me. You never have. I'm always in the corner, ignored, and lonely. But how, how do I tell you that I love you? I just want to run up to you and throw my arms around you, to be held in your warm embrace, to feel your lips upon mine, to have you stroke my hair, to hold me till I'm asleep, and then continue to hold me close, so I can always hear the beating of your heart. But it will never happen. Curse this shyness that prevents me from being near you. If only, if only I knew you loved me the way I loved you. To know that it's mutual. But, it will never be that way. I'll always be the quiet girl in the corner. Left to lick the wounds that this crush has caused me. No matter what though, I'll still love you today, tomorrow and forever.
