Ludwig continued to cry in the rain. The tears of the sky mixed with his as he let his feelings burst out of him. Suddenly, he heard a crash inside the tent where Italy was waiting to die. Ludwig barged in to find that the crash was just a surgical tool that had fallen off the shelf. He noticed that Italy was smiling while he laid there on his death bed. This scene broke what was left of Ludwig's heart. He sat down and stared up at Italy, hoping that he was having a better time in his 'coma' than Ludwig was having in the hell he lived in now, the flames set ablaze by loneliness. Italy was his only friend. From what Ludwig had heard in the past, comas can last from 3 days to 3 years, but remembering what the doctor said, Ludwig lost his hope. he curled up and leaned against a metal chest in the tent.
Meanwhile, in Italy's mind...
Italy stood in front of Holy Roman Empire's house ruins. He spend his childhood there, as a servant, but there was still priceless memories that lay in the ashes. In the middle of the House runs, was a small tombstone built with old, dried up clay that read "Here lies Holy Roman Empire, a fighter, conquer-er, and friend to many" Italy almost cried as he put the bouquet of roses on the pile of ash in front of the tombstone. After all, Holy Roman Empire was his first love. He didn't care if it was another boy, Holy Roman Empire trusted him and was his friend in his childhood [and he gave him food] Italy left a bouquet of roses on Holy Roman Empire's grave every year after his death. It got harder and harder every year that he gave to visit, knowing that he had gone another year without his first friend and love.
