Letting Go
Byron B. Bradshaw
Cho sat alone in her dormitory, just thinking. "Cedric-DEAD? How can this be? My one and only love; GONE; in an instant! By that evil Voldemort."
I think of all the good times
You and I spent together,
Walking hand in hand in the halls, kissing in the moonlight by the lake, and just being near him where some of the best memories of him.
How we went through thick and thin,
Through bright and stormy weather.
She remembered his anxiety during the tasks. He was so nervous, but still was nice to her. He just held her after the second task when he thought he would lose her. Then, watching him be the gentleman in the third. DANG he was stupid.
I know you were perfect,
At least you were to me.
He was simply, how do you out this----PERFECT. The greatest sweetheart, the wonderful gentleman, and the studly jock were just a few of his nicknames.
I think you had your faults
But those I will not see
.
Cho didn't care if he wasn't faultless. Sure, he could be a jerk sometimes, and he wasn't the brightest in the world, but she did not care. She loved him all the same.
I think of you, and your tenderness,
How you were always kind,
KIND. The ideal word to describe him. Never a harsh word to her. Or anyone else she saw.
When I think of you, my memories are refined.
Ah.... It was so peaceful; just to sit and think of Cedric, but it hurt.
I think of you---the pain you saw,
Cho was upset and relieved that she wasn't there when Voldemort attacked him. "I could have done something! I really think I could have!" But then, she was also glad she didn't have to see him go through that last awful experience.
It really hurts me so,
I try to deal with all the hurt,
That comes with letting go.
Cho just cried. She couldn't stand it. But she could do something about Voldemort hurting someone else. She grabbed her wand and broom and flew off into the night. "Never again" she whispered.
Would you like a sequel? DID it utterly suck? Please Read and review THANX
