Sorting Choas

Author's Note: I'm finally getting around to this idea. Another sorting hat story... but my first sorting hat story. I don't own House or Harry Potter. Please read and review.

Kutner walked in boldly after paging Chase and Cameron to join him along with the rest of the team. He carried a sorting hat but wasn't sure it was going to work but he was curious. House rolled his eyes when he saw what Kutner was carrying. He already knew that Kutner wouldn't leave him alone until everyone was sorted.

"What is the meaning of this?" Chase said walking in.

"Apparently someone wants us sorted." House said.

"Are you sure that thing is going to work properly?" Thirteen asked.

"Only one way to find out." Kutner answered before putting the hat on his own head.

Almost immediately the hat cried, "Gryffindor!"

Everyone jumped back in surprise.

"Do me next!" Thirteen said excited that it worked and curious to see what the hat would say about her.

Kutner placed the hat on her head and the hat thought a lot more carefully this time.

"Hmm very interesting..." The hat said, "Very complicated and yet very simple. Better be... Ravenclaw!"

"I was right!" House exclaimed showing his white board to everyone.

Ravenclaw was written in all caps.

"We should do you!" Kutner said excited.

"I already know what I am." House smirked, "Especially since I'm so evil. All the evil can only go somewhere."

"Not all of Slytherin is evil, House." Kutner said before quickly placing the hat on his head.

But the hat didn't say Slytherin; instead it took its time before finally saying, "Gryffindor!"

Everyone was surprised. House looked unhappy mainly because he was wrong.

Next up was Cameron.

"Hufflepuff!" The hat said instantly.

"But Hufflepuff is so..." Cameron began.

"Uninteresting." House finished.

Then Chase.

"Hmm smart, ambitious, and brave." The hat commented.

"Thank you," Chase said.

"Gryffindor!"

Finally, Kutner placed the hat on Foreman.

"I don't want Slytherin." Foreman said aloud.

"But that's where you fit." The hat replied, "Okay then, Gryffindor!"

House paged Wilson and Cuddy to come along.

They came in quickly. They were instantly irritated that this wasn't an emergency like the page said but agreed to stick around to be sorted.

"Slytherin!" The hat cried over Cuddy's head.

House smirked knowing how much it seemed to make sense. Like a Slytherin, Cuddy liked to think she was in control and of course, she was always ambitious. She wasn't necessarily a bad girl unless you were asking House.

"Like I said, not all Slytherin are evil." Kutner commented.

Lastly, Wilson was sorted into Gryffindor. No one was surprised.

After everyone was sorted, Kutner took the hat and stored it away. Kutner was glad he did this.

Author's Note: What do you think of the sorting? Were you surprised at all or did you see this coming? Tell me what you thought in a review and please no flames. Thanks for reading! 8D!
