In the woods outside of the fair seaside town; the sprites would bear their crowns for a wedding fast approaching. Whose wedding you ask, why the prince is marrying the girl who has stolen his heart with her goodness and love! Both traits that are most dearly needed in the future queen of all, Oh! I should not say too much, you must read to find out more! So we begin with story with the most lovely of the sprites; she spent all day weaving her crown of mistletoe to share the love she had with in her heart for the prince was to be her husband on the shortest day of this year, they all could not be more thrilled. The sweetest of the sprites weave her crown of hollies to share the joy she felt in her heart, for how could she not be so joyful to see her youngest friend to be married at long last! the third sprite sitting in the group was said to be the luckiest of them as she wove her crown of laurels leaves in hopes of sharing some of her good fortune with her dear friend on the most luckiest of days. Even though most were in highest of spirits and almost all were happy and gaily waiting the day, but not all looked on the wedding happily, for there was one that love the prince too, and was most angry that she had been overlooked for the meager little slip of a child. She who had been groomed from her birth to be the prince's bride, to be rejected for a peasant, the daughter of a former slave! so she called upon her minions to help enchant the prince into loving her and only her.
Meanwhile the prince is hunting for the perfect gift for his young bride and has no clue what to give her for making him the happiest of sprites, for he knows that she has no use for gold, for her hair would make the richest gold look dull, or gems that sparkle like the night sky, for her eyes would put them to shame for they are brighter than all the stars in the sky, or any use for silk, for her skin is so smooth that the silk would look like burlap next to her! The only thing she could even ask for was his love, nothing more, and because of this he wish to find a gift to show just how much he truly loves her, ever since he saw her trying to find way to pay for her father's freedom after being sold into slavery by humans. And at this though he exclaimed "Humans! Such odd creatures they can not see what they have to cherish, they just want more than they will ever need! True, sprites and pixies and fairies and all magical folk are not immune to greed but we try not to let it consume us, but some such as the duchess, who my parents wished to be my bride only wants to be the queen, for the queen of the sprites is the queen over all magical creatures and people, she holds all the power, and I as the king, I am only there to ensure her happiness and to insure her life is never in danger." Oh why did my mother chose her, the duchess, to be my bride from birth! For she only has love for herself, she could never make me happy. While she may be a beauty on the outside, her heart has no warmth, it has no inner glow of love, no hope to give to the ones she must rule, no compassion for their woes and sorrows." While I am glad my father saw what my mother never could and has allowed me to marry the girl who has stolen my love and my soul, while I am sorry for breaking the duchesses heart, and hope she can find happiness that I shall be enjoying with my princess! Enough of this sadness I still need to find a gift to give to the light of my heart!"
"It seems the prince is having some issues finding the gift to give to his blushing bride why don't we see what she is up to ummm?"
