The battle was over and even throw they all had reasons to be happy none of them could find them self's a reason to smile. There now laying in the middle of the battle field was the body's of Inuyasha and Kagome, Some how it was them alone that had stopped the dark henyou and destroyed the jewel of four souls but at a price and that being there own lives.

Now Kagomes body laid over the bloody body of Inuyasha, as the remaining members of the group closed around the body's they could see that Inuyasha's right arm was wrapped around Kagome wale her dainty hands clutched tight to the red fire rat robes. There was a look of peace on there face's and they all knew it was dew to the fact that they had told each other in the last moments be for the attack that they loved each other.

There was no doubt in there mind that those ware the words said even if all they could see was there lips mouth the words. As the Lord of the West Sesshaomru approached they would all be shocked by what he would say next. "I Sesshaomru last living blood of my father the grate InuToshi here by recognize the Inu henyou Inuyasha as prince of the west. With this said he and his mate will be barred at my shino ware you all may attend."

All stunted that the cold lord would offer such a honor to the half brother that he hated for a good part of 200 years they all but missed the word 'Mate' add to his statement, That is all but Kouga. "Hell no!" He shouted. "Kagome was not mated to the mutt and should be taken back to my den as she was my woman." Sesshaomru raised a cruises brow. "Prince Kouga how could she have been your women when it was my brother that had a clam on the girl, Even when I first meet the miko my brothers sent clam was clear as day and night. So dose that mean you would have broken yokie law and stolen what was rightfully already his."

Kouga was going to say some thing but was cut by the monk Miroku asking his own question. "I'm sure you are correct on the fact that we all knew Inuyasha intent with Kagome but I'm sorry to say Lord Sesshamru the two never did become mate's." Sesshaomru gave a small shake of his head. "No monk they never did consummate the mating but the bond was still there all the same. There is no doubt that in the end she was mate to my brother, making her not only a powerful miko but also a princess of the west as well. She will be barred with my brother and they will be no further argument."

True to his word both Inuyasha and Kagome ware barred with more then what his honor would have demanded. The ceremony lasted three days and nights and in the end all the people in the land that had ever know the two had paid there resects to the prince and princess of the west that had given up there life's so at this time and place they could know the peace that now settled over the land that was so missed during the dark henyou existence.

In the end it doesn't even matter that one was henyou and the other miko, No in the end all that matter was they ware together in love and happy to be at each others side when the end did come. Now looking down from the havens above Kagome and Inuyasha held each other in a loving embrace and waited for that day when they would be reunited with there family and friends once more.
