Alvin was sitting up late one night, listening to his favorite love song, crying to his favorite. It was 'Because I love you' by Lenny Williams. Alvin is in love with his brother but he can't tell him now that he is dating Jeanette, though there have been issues between the two, he still won't leave her. Trouble in paradise I suppose. Alvin has been trying to be compassionate about the relationship, but Simon seems to have more of an interest in looking at Alvin a lot of times, in caring for his brother, but Alvin is to blind to such things, only thinking he is seeing things, or refuses to acknowledge it. Sure they spend time together, but that's just, not enough.
Ya know, they don't even argue any more, which to Alvin is pretty great, and maybe he can live with that. It helps a bit to think like that, but Alvin still wants more. Alvin tries to talk to Theodore but it doesn't help. Sometimes like now, Alvin would just cry to himself in pain and moan out, and cry the lyrics to his favorite love song. The pain stays afterward but it is a good ventilation system for him. He would mention Simon's name in the lyrics, but he didnt know Simon was still home and listening to everything he was saying. Alvin thought Simon was with Jeanette. When the song ended Simon walked into the room and wrapped his arms around Alvin. He waited to not let the mood get ruined before speaking up.
"why are you doing this Si? Is it because you pity me, I look stupid, I'm better than this, I should find someone else, or... Is it-"
"Because I love you"
