Stargate Universe Sneak Peak
Ron "Psycho" Stasiak looked deep into the girl's eyes as her soft lips moved ever closer to his own. Just as she was about to make contact, her body exploded into a hailstorm of tiny metal particles which bounced off the wall and covered the stone floor. He whirled around to see which of his teammates had interrupted the romantic interlude. "Yo, dawg, whadja do that for?" he protested to Lieutenant Jared Nash.
Jared rolled his eyes. "Psycho-dude, that hot chick was so totally a Replicator." As if it wasn't patently obvious.
"Duh. I was still gonna tap that," Psycho replied, still rather annoyed. Fortunately, not dangerously so. Yet.
"You don't appreciate me, do you?" Jared pouted to the marine.
Psycho said nothing, as it was true, but the team medic thought otherwise. "I think you're so totally awesome," Tamara declared, approaching him to cheer him up with a sickeningly passionate kiss. Psycho nearly rolled his eyes, but that was Nash's gig.
The game of tonsil-hockey was soon over, and the Nash looked back at Stasiak with a wide grin. "Now that's what I'm talkin' about!" he declared cheerily, not making much sense to anyone who had attempted to follow the conversation.
Psycho whipped out his cell and pressed a button to speed-dial. "Yo, Wonderbread? You got that address figured out yet?" he inquired into it.
In a quiet field outside, Eli Hitchcock lazily dialed the DHD. "Chill, I'm calibrating as fast as I can. I think the neutron flow has become depolarised again," he answered, before hanging up and stuffing the cell back in his jacket pocket.
Chloe Carpenter draped herself over the DHD and adjusted her designer sunglasses. I'm so sick of being treated like some sort of object to be worshiped! I'm a real person with real feelings!"
"Get off the DHD!" Eli protested.
"But I'm working on my tan! Are you even paying attention to me?"
Eli ignored her and started moping. "You know…I don't think Nash likes me any more."
"I'm pregnant," Chloe announced.
