Hello everyone! After I updated my other story, I took the time to look over this story and realized one thing—I just followed the original plot of the anime but changed things up a bit. I wanted to make it different and original so I decided to rewrite this story.
Luckily, I didn't get far with this story, otherwise; I probably would've been sorry for restarting the whole thing. I made an outline for this story so it's more put-together and I know I don't need to wing my way through this story (Don't believe me when I say this—I have a feeling that I might do this quite often).
There will be many songs that will be included in this, I will put the title of the songs in the order that it showed up in as the story continues.

~ Fateful Encounters ~

"…" Scribble, scribble.
"…" Step, step.
The sound of several shuffling feet and pens scribbled on paper resonated throughout the small room. There were at least a few men and women in the room—although, the room seems more like a secret laboratory. There was a clutter of wires surrounding the many large glass case tubes lined up in a row. In every tube, each contained a different figure. Some of the wires were connected to each tube and also to the machinery on the wall with blinking lights.
"…Alright, we increased the voltage containing Ethernano. Activate the tanks." A deep voice echoed through the room. The other scientists nod curtly before one of them pushed a button on the machinery on the wall. The light in the tubes flickered on and after a while, the light turned green. One by one, each figure slowly twitched their fingers.
"…!"
"It's…!"
"It's a success!"
The scientists cheered in excitement and glee. All of them were thrilled to know that their experiments had succeeded and begun to chatter enthusiastically among themselves of how they should continue from there. Unknown to them and the world, this is just the beginning. These figures would impress the world with their capability and eventually some would use them for their own purposes and goals. However, there are others who want these figures to be free and live their own lives. These figures are known as…

"Hm~? This town looks relatively normal compared to the other towns we've been in." A short, female figure hums as her eyes scanned the areas of the town.
"Not all towns would look identical. By standard, this town should be satisfactorily for the humans who live here." A short, male figure stated robotically. The two figures looked almost identical to each other—it is possible that they could be twins considering that they're wearing almost identical sailor outfits.
The boy had blond hair tied in a small ponytail and cool, ocean blue eyes. He wore a white headset with the center clear. He wore a white shirt with a black with yellow striped collar and a yellow tie. He also has black arm warmers with a glowing, rectangular green design on it. He wore a pair of long black shorts with a gold trim dangling on his right side. He also wore black leg warmers and white shoes with yellow linings on the bottom.
The girl also had blond hair and bright, ocean blue eyes. She wore a white headset with the center clear, identical to the boy next to her. She had a white hairband tied on top of her head in the shape similar to bunny ears along with a few white hair clips in her hair. She also wore a sleeveless white shirt with a black and yellow striped collar along with a large yellow scarf tied in the same shape as her hairband. She also had black arm warmers with the same glowing, rectangular green design. She wore a mini black short with a gold trim dangling on her left side. She also wore black leg warmers and white shoes with yellow linings on the bottom. On her left shoulder, there is a small tattoo that says, "02".
"You should relax more Len~" The girl chirped cheerfully as she casually poked the boy on the cheek. "The way you talk will confuse people~"
"It's merely how I speak, Rin." Len stated blandly. Rin puckered her lip into a pout with a stingy expression. However, her expression was quickly swapped with a cheery expression.
"How boring~" Rin sang as she casually placed her arm around Len. Consideration flickered through her eyes for a moment.
"We probably should find a job though, ne, Len~? Don't think we can stay a night if we don't have much money~" Rin hums. Len glanced at Rin with a pointed look.
"So, you do have a brain."
"Hey!"

"Freesia Town is bigger than what I have seen the books…" A small girl stares out the carriage's window in awe. Her brown eyes sparkled in delight as she ingrains the scenery into her memory.
"…" The driver sitting in the front of the carriage glanced back with a worried glint in his eyes. He had a daughter of similar age and was worried about seeing that the girl is alone.
"Might I know your name, miss? And why you're all by yourself?" The man asked gently. The girl turned her gaze away from the window and gave a tiny smile.
"I'm Lucy." The girl introduced herself shyly. "I'm visiting papa's workplace."
"Oh?" The man raised an eyebrow.
"Un! Papa is busy with work so I thought I could visit him." Lucy chirped. The man's gaze softens at her response.
"I see. I think it's nice that you want to visit your father, but please make sure to have someone with you next time, alright?" The man said gently as Lucy beams slight and nods her head.
"I will! Thank you, sir!" Lucy smiled brightly, as she felt her heart swelled when the man started to radiate a relief feeling in his aura.
As far as Lucy remembered, she always had this ability to understand and see the aura of other people. She once told her mama and told her that she probably has 'empathy'. Lucy learned that she should keep this to herself and only those close to her.
All of a sudden, a small boy ran in front of the horses, chasing after a ball.
"Watch out!" The man immediately tugged on the ropes tied around the horses' neck, however, it startled the horses and knock the man out of his seat.
"Kya!" Lucy quickly grabbed ahold of the seat as the horses went on the rampage.
"Oh no!" The man immediately turned pale and quickly rush after the carriage with Lucy inside.

"Hmph, I never realized how hard it is to find a job." Rin huffs with irritation before a pout formed on her face.
"The humans appear to be hesitant about hiring us due to our appearance as children." Len remarks dryly. Rin grumbles but didn't argue. Technically, they are thirteen years old and it would make sense why adults are unsure if they should hire children or not.
"Someone! Anyone! Stop that carriage!" A loud voice hollered, as Len and Rin halt in their walking. Just as they stopped, the carriage with the rampaging horses ran pass them.
The driver of the carriage panted heavily as he was forced to come to a stop before turning his eyes towards Len and Rin.
"Please! Save the child in the carriage! I'll even reward you!" The man begged as Len and Rin shared a look with one another.
"Alright~! Just leave it to us~" Rin grins as the twins quickly ran after the carriage.
ﾟ･ ✿ ヾ ╲ (｡◕ ‿ ◕｡) ╱ ✿ ･ﾟ
"Len, could you locate where the carriage went?" Rin asked as Len gave a curt nod. His eyes immediately flashed with a yellow glow with a screen appearing in front of him. There were a few blinking circles before he spotted one that was moving swiftly.
"This way." Len quickly leads Rin in another direction. They're going to have to use a shortcut to be able to reach the carriage.
"Ah! Found it!" Rin grins widely. The horses were still running with the carriage on tow however, Len and Rin immediately grabbed ahold the back of the carriage. They climbed to the top of the carriage before landing down to the seat in front.
"Eh?" Lucy peered up when she saw the backs of the twins sitting in front.
"Do you have any suggestions?" Len glanced over at Rin with a neutral expression. Rin merely smiles brightly in return.
"We'll just do what we do best~" Len curtly nods. Immediately, both Len and Rin's headphones begun to glow yellow before they open their mouths.
"The two sides of the star sign that runs in the heavens—"
"A noon that clatters—"
"A night that's wistful too—"
"Over the sky, we are Gemini attracted to each other—"

"W-Wow…" Lucy listened in awe as her eyes sparkled while listening to the twins sing. They sound so pretty…
As the twins continued to sing, the horses slowly begin to slow down and calm down from the song. Eventually, the carriage came to a stop once the horses were calm enough.
"Whelp! That ended well~" Rin grins as Len gave a slight shrug. Rin immediately turns around to the carriage.
"It's safe to come out now~" Rin chirped as Lucy perked up from inside the carriage. Lucy got up from her seat and opened the door to get out of the carriage.
"…" Len and Rin watched as Lucy jumped off the carriage. Lucy shuffle towards Len and Rin as she gave a polite bow.
"T-Thank you for saving me!"
"…Tiny…" Len muttered quietly, as he stared down at Lucy with a blank expression.
"It's not a problem~! We were asked to help~" Rin smiled brightly. Lucy shook her head and shyly smiled.
"Still, thank you for helping me."
"Lucy-sama!" A shrilled voice screamed from behind the trio. Len and Rin looked up while Lucy turned around to notice two people running towards them.
"Ah…" Lucy blinked as she peered her eyes up at the lady who appeared in front of her.
"Spetto-san." The old lady huffs before starting to scold Lucy.
"Lucy-sama! I told you that your father is very busy and you mustn't run away from home like this! You were very lucky that you weren't harmed!" Spetto scolded as Lucy guilty looked down in shame as she fiddled with her thumbs. She immediately felt Spetto's aura tinted in worry and concern.
"Gomennasai, Spetto-san…"
"Thank you for saving her. As promised, here is your reward." The driver bowed gratefully as he handed them a few Jewels.
"Not a problem~" Rin grins as she took the Jewels handed to them.
"Is there anything we can do you repay the favor for saving Lucy-sama?" Spetto asked as she turned her attention to the twins. Lucy also turned to the twins with curious eyes.
"We're actually looking for jobs~" Rin said happily as Len curtly nods.
"It would be great if you could tell us any places that has some openings then that'll be great~" Rin clasped her hands together as she looked at the two with hopeful eyes.
The driver crossed his arms over his chest as a troubled expression appeared on his face.
"There's not a lot of job openings here in this town so it might be hard to find a job…" The driver said as Rin's hopeful expression dropped to disappointment.
"Aw~" Lucy ponder for a moment before a lightbulb appeared on top of her head.
"I know! Why don't you work with me? Like a maid and butler!" Lucy's eyes sparkled at her great idea.
"Oh?" Rin blinked in surprise while Len raised an eyebrow.
"L-Lucy-sama! You can't do things like this impulsively without the permission of your father!" Spetto spluttered as she was extremely surprised at the idea of Lucy's.
"But it's the least they could do for saving me! If they weren't there, who knows what might've happened to me." Lucy pouts as she explained logically.
"But…" Spetto faltered.
"They could be my personal maid and butler. And they're not that much older than me—if I had someone around my age then there's no need for me to visit father as much." Lucy persuaded as Spetto let out a grim expression before finally sighing.
"Alright—" Spetto said hesitantly as Lucy cheered. "—however, you must speak with your father. It's not my decision to make for you."
"Don't worry, Spetto-san! I'll be sure to speak with father about this." Lucy bobbled her head excitedly before turning back to the twins with hopeful eyes.
"Do you want to work with me then?" Lucy asked hopefully as the twins blinked before sharing a look with one another. Rin raised an eyebrow while Len responded with a tilt of his head.
"Sure! We'll take your offer~" Rin turned back to Lucy with a bright smile and immediately, Lucy beamed as she clapped her hands together in delight.
"Yatta~" Lucy jumped up and down before enveloping the twins into a hug. The twins were immediately startled.
"Let's get along! Ah!" A thought occurred to Lucy as she just realized that she had never introduced herself. She pulled back and gave a bright smile.
"My name is Lucy Heartfilia! It's a pleasure to meet you." Lucy bowed politely as Len and Rin blinked a couple of times trying to process the hug.
"How particular." Len muttered under his breath.
"Very~" Rin hums quietly before giving Lucy a cheery smile.
"My name is Rin and this is my brother is Len~" Rin introduced herself and Len as she cocks her head to the side.
"It's nice to meet you too."
In one world, younger Lucy was saved by an older Lucy at a different location and time.
In another world, Lucy was still saved but Len and Rin did not agree to work alongside with her.
In another world, Lucy was not saved and was met with an unfortunate death.

Two Years Later…
Location: Heartfilia Resident, X780
"Hm…" Lucy pouted slightly as she wandered down the hall and looked around as if she was looking for a particular thing.
"Where did Rin-nee and Len-nii go?" Lucy mumbled. She hadn't seen them since this morning and wondered where they suddenly disappeared to.
Rin and Len had arrived at the Heartfilia resident two years ago—she could remember the intense atmosphere between her and her father but she was determined and stubborn about keeping the twins around. Fortunately, they made the deal that if she were to attend and do well in her private lessons, he'll allow the twins to stay.
"Oh! Found them!" Lucy looked to her left and peered out the window. Her face immediately brightens when she spotted two familiar blondes standing outside in the garden cleaning up.
Lucy quickly turned around and ran down the hall to head outside to her favorite twins.

"It's already been two years~ I didn't expect to be here this long, to be honest~" Rin grins relaxingly as she sweeps a pile of leaves.
"It was a good decision at the time." Len said calmly as he continued to work. It's not like they have a reason to leave either—they have a roof over their heads and they get money from it. Suddenly, their headphones begin to start blinking a light blue.
"Oh~? Looks like the someone is checking in on us~" Rn begins to grin wider as she taps the right side of her headphones.
"It's to be considered obvious since we are the youngest." Len states as he taps the left side of his headphones.
After the twins touched their headphones, the color immediately changed to a bright light blue. As soon as the color changed, a voice comes through.
"Rin, Len. It's been a while since we've last talked." A kind but gentle voice echoed within the headphones.
"Hi Luka~" Rin chirped as a wide grin stretched across her face.
"Hello." Len greeted as he continued to sweep.
"How have you guys been? Are you still working with young, miss Heartfilia?" Luka asked kindly.
"Yes." Len replied bluntly.
"Geez Len~! You should answer the first question first~" Rin giggled. "We're fine~! The work is boring but little Lucy seems to make things better~"
"I see. I'm relieved to see that you're still well then." Luka said warmly.
"Yep~! How are the other lovely androids~?" Rin laughs before asking teasingly with a hint of curiosity in her tone.
Both were unaware of Lucy standing behind them the entire time. Lucy was about to call out for the twins but immediately stopped with wide eyes when she heard the word androids. She knew it was bad to eavesdrop but decided to just listen a bit more before calling them out.
"They're all doing well. There are a few that I have yet to check in yet." Luka replied gently. "I thought I'd checked in with you guys first."
"Aw~" Rin giggled. "Count on Luka to be the mom figure~"
"I suppose." Luka laughs softly. "Well, I hope you'll keep Rin out of trouble then, Len."
"Always." Len stated as Rin begins to pout.
"Rude!"
"Rin-nee! Len-nii!" Lucy called out as she could no longer stand there and wait. Len and Rin were immediately startled as they whipped their heads around.
"Rin? Len? Did something happen?" Luka asked worriedly as the twins immediately gone silent.
"Haha~" Rin laughs nervously. "It's nothing serious, so no worries, Luka~! We need to head back to work so we'll talk to you again later~"
"…Alright. Take care, Rin, Len. I'll contact you guys again." Luka hesitated but bid them both a goodbye. Len and Rin's headphones went back to normal as Luka's voice disappeared.
"How much did you hear, little Lucy~?" Rin bent down to stare at Lucy with a smile on her face. Lucy fiddled with her fingers with her head turned but stared back with a guilty expression.
"G-Gomen…" Lucy apologized. "I heard androids and I decided to listen for a bit…"
"…" Rin glanced back at Len and raised an eyebrow. They seem to communicate with their eyes.
What should we do? Rin tilts her head.
Just tell her the truth. Len shrugs.
Really? Rin gave him an unamused expression.
She will notice the difference in our aging process when she grows older. Len raised an eyebrow.
Fine. Rin rolled her eyes before glancing back at Lucy.
"Little Lucy~" Rin called out as Lucy jolt up at the call of her name.
"H-Hai…?" Lucy bit her bottom lip nervously.
"Can you keep a secret?" Rin put a finger up to her lips and winked. Lucy blinked and nods slowly.
"I promise!" Lucy said determinedly.
"Me and Len—" Rin started but was only interrupted.
"Len and I." Len corrected as Rin gave a quick glare towards Len.
"Yeah, yeah. Anyways, we're actually androids. Which means that we're not exactly humans~" Rin explained as Lucy tries to process what was being said.
"Does that mean the person you're talking to is also an android?" Lucy asked curiously.
"Yes." Len responds softly with a nod.
"…"
"…" The twins felt a twinge of uncertainty as they had yet to hear a response back from Lucy. Lucy felt the shift in the aura and pondered for a moment. Then she immediately links all of their hands together and smiles brightly up at the twins.
"Lucy?" Len looked down at her with a raised eyebrow while Rin was also staring at Lucy curiously.
"Thank you for telling me! I promise I'll keep your secret!" Lucy continues to smile.
"And it doesn't matter if you're androids or not! I like you guys just the way you are!" Lucy states sincerely with honest eyes.
Rin and Len widened their eyes in surprise. Suddenly, Rin and Len's face turned red as they became a pair of matching tomatoes.
"You're…" Len paused before lightly shaking his head. A small soft smile appeared on his face. "You're quite a particular child, Lucy."
"You're so strange, little Lucy." Rin grins before letting out a laugh. Lucy merely cocks her head to the side and her smile just became a tad brighter.

One Year Later…
Location: Heartfilia Resident, X781
"You are the heiress of Heartfilia and I expect you to not disgrace our family name." Jude stated coldly. Lucy held a perfectly concealed blank expression.
"…Yes, father."
"You are dismissed." Lucy gave a courteous bow and walked out of the room. As soon as she shut the door behind her, a bitter smile appeared on her face.
"Of course, you haven't changed…" Lucy thought as she let out a long-sufferable sigh. She always hated being in the same room as her father. The suffocating feeling of coldness and disinterest in his aura tends to make her feel nauseous.
She took a breath before letting it out.
"I need to get away." Lucy mumbled to herself and walked speedily down the hall to head outside. Right now, she needs to be away from her father and the uncomfortable feeling settling down in her stomach.
Just then, a maid was passing by and glanced out the window to notice Lucy was rushing off somewhere.
"Lucy-sama…?"

"How strange~" Rin pouted as she wandered down the hall with Len right next to her.
"Where could Luce-nee be?"
Ever since Lucy had found out about the twin's secret—they all came into an agreement with Lucy being the older figure since Len and Rin take longer to age compared to Lucy. Not only that, the twins came across a book that states that when people have a close relationship, they tend to have nicknames for each other. Lucy did argue that the twins didn't really need a nickname for her but the twins were too stubborn.
Thus, Luce-nee was created.
"She's not in any of her usual locations." Len stated as his face furrowed in confusion. He calculated that she could be in the library—but she wasn't there.
They checked her room—in which Lucy wasn't there either.
"Where could she be?" Rin frowned as her tone was slightly worried. The sun was setting and while it does make great scenery as it complimented the windows in the halls—the twins were more concerned about Lucy.
"Rin-san, Len-san. Are you perhaps looking for Lucy-sama?" A voice asked from behind and the twins quickly turned around.
"Yes, we are~" Rin chirped with a bright smile on her face. "Do you know where she went?"
"I'm not exactly sure where Lucy-sama went but I did see her running outside…" The maid trailed off. Len pondered for a moment before something clicked in his brains.
"I know where she'll be." Len whispered to Rin. Rin grins excitedly and the both of them bowed politely to the maid.
"Thank you for your help~" Rin quickly grabbed Len's hand and they dashed down the hall to find Lucy.

"…" Lucy was standing in front of a gravestone with a small brown bag in her hands. Above the gravestone was a huge statue of a woman in a dress with a robe draped on her shoulders and angel wings on her back.
Then a pair of arms wrapped around her neck and Lucy turned her head.
"Found you, Luce-nee~" Rin giggled softly as she continues to hug her. Len followed right after and now he was just a step away from the two girls.
"Rin-chan, Len-kun." Lucy blinked as she glanced between Rin and Len.
"We were looking for you." Len stated. Lucy immediately gave an apologetic smile.
"Sorry. I was in the room with father and I needed to get away for a bit." Lucy explained as Len's eyes narrowed at the mention of Lucy's father before reverting back to a neutral expression. Rin's eyes darkened slightly but still had her cheery smile on her face.
Both Len and Rin looked down at the gravestone. Lucy caught their gaze and smiles sadly.
"This is my mama's grave." Lucy stated softly as she just stared at the printed words of "Layla Heartfilia".
"Before mama settled down, she was a mage in a guild." Lucy began.
"I've always admired mama—and I'd always loved it when she shows me her magic." Lucy's eyes soften as she gently cradles a brown little bag in her arms.
"So, I dreamed that I could be a mage like her someday." A sad expression appeared on Lucy's face.
"But I'm not allowed to use magic here unless Bero-san is teaching me. I just wish I could use magic more often…"
"…" Len and Rin stayed silent as they listen to Lucy talk. Both of their chests tighten with a pang of anger. Then, Rin gave a determined look.
"Then let's leave." Rin said seriously. Lucy turned her head to Rin in shock and surprise. It's the first time that Lucy was hearing Rin being serious.
"E-Eh?"
"Let's leave this place. You're not happy here and you can use magic all you want outside of this place." Rin repeated with a serious expression on her face.
"E-Eh?! B-But…" Lucy was about to protest but Len interrupted.
"We'll be with you." Len says. Lucy immediately closed her mouth as she stood frozen.
"You're not alone. We'll be with you." Len softens his tone and gave a small smile. Rin replaced her serious expression with a bright and teasing expression.
"Don't think you can get away from us that easily~" Rin winked. Lucy looked down and her frame begins to shook and sniffles were let out.
"Let's escape, Luce-nee." Rin said softly as Lucy tilted her head upwards with tears running down her face—but the smile on her face was warm and bright.
"Un!"

Later that Night…
"…" It was a silent night. The stars were shimmering brightly in the sky and the only noises were the sounds of the crickets and shuffling feet dragging across the ground.
"Mou~! Did we have to go during the night?" Rin pouted as the trio walked through the forestry area. At least a few hours had gone by since they last left the Heartfilia resident. Since it was a private area, there weren't any nearby town that was close so they had to walk barefooted instead.
"If we leave in the morning, there's a possibility that someone will catch us." Len stated bluntly. Rin pouts but doesn't argue.
"…!" Rin and Len immediately felt something—or someone, hold their hands tightly.
"It's okay though." Lucy smiles brightly at the two as she was the one that linked their hands together.
"I'm grateful to know that you're both here by my side." Lucy's face settled for a warm expression and gave them a squeeze.
"If it wasn't for the both of you, I don't think I would work up the courage to leave home."
"…Nn." Len's cheeks bloomed in a bright red color as he turned his head away in embarrassment. Rin laughs happily although there was a hint of embarrassment in her tone.
"Aw~" Rin cooed. "You're embarrassed~"
"…I don't need to hear it from you."
"Hmph. Meanie!"
Lucy merely smiles as she continues to hold hands with the twins. And if her smile just became a tad wider because they squeeze back—well, no one has to know.

"Wah~" Rin flopped onto the bed and sighs happily as she felt the soft fabric underneath her.
It took them at least four to five hours—luckily, there was an inn that was opened this late considering that it was already past midnight.
"So nice to be on a bed~" Rin snuggled into the bed as Lucy sweat-drop and Len blankly looked at her disinterestedly. Len turned his attention to Lucy and cocks his head to the side.
"Are you tired?" Len asked as Lucy shook her head in response.
"I'm fine. I'm relieved that we were fortunate to find an inn that allows us to stay the night." Lucy says mildly as she joined Rin on the bed.
"I see." Len nods curtly as he sat on the edge of the bed.
"Ne, ne~" Rin turned over on the bed to look at Lucy. Lucy looked at her curiously as Len glanced over as well.
"Now that you're away from home, what are you planning on doing now, Luce-nee?" Rin asked with a hum as Lucy blinked in surprise at the question.
"…" Lucy looked up at the ceiling and pursed her lips as her eyebrows furrowed.
"I'm not sure." Lucy replied lightly but she reached out to clasped their hands together again. The twins squeezed back as they had gotten used to her touchy nature.
"But for now, I want to get stronger. I did promise that I want to protect you guys." Lucy giggled as Rin gave a wide smile and Len let out a small smile.
"I suppose that means we'll get stronger too~! Right, Len~?" Rin turned her gaze towards Len and winked.
"Yes." Len murmured. He looked down at the laying Lucy with soft eyes.
"We'll protect you too." Lucy beams and a yawn escaped her mouth.
"Guess that means it's time to sleep~" Rin laughs as she got off the bed and turned off the lights. Lucy's eyes felt droopy as she was finding a hard time to keep her eyes open.
"You should sleep." Len murmurs softly as he patted Lucy's with his other hand.
"Mhm…" Lucy agrees tiredly but peers her eyes at Rin and Len.
"Sing for me?" Lucy requested sleepily as Len and Rin curtly nod.
"Now an unrecognized face is reflected, and the whispering voice deeper—"
"I will shatter that mirror with this hammer in my hand—"
"Tearing down our built toy castle into pieces—"
"Our creaking bones are the bell that announces the end to the knight and the princess—"
Lucy fluttered her eyes shut as she begins to breath in and out at a steady pace. Len and Rin soften their eyes.
"Good night Luce-nee."
In one world, without Len and Rin, Lucy would've run away but always come back home.
In another world, Lucy would've left without Len and Rin.
In another world, they would've left in the morning but get caught.

A Few Months Later…
Location: Veritas Town, X782
"Yay~! Another town spotted~!" Rin cheers as she happily skips alongside with Lucy next to her and Len on the other end.
"I fail to see why there's a need to be happy from spotting another destination." Len states blandly as he walked calmly next to Lucy.
"It's most likely due to the excitement and it's a nice change of pace since most towns are different." Lucy laughs as she let a warm smile on her face.
Lucy was now officially fifteen years old. Which makes her two years older than the twins now—although she knows that it was granted since it would take androids longer to grow older. She had asked about how they would know when they have aged but unfortunately, they don't know much information. Perhaps she could ask the other androids and see if they had any information.
"…!" Lucy felt her body shivered as a wave of distress rushed through her and she stumbled back slightly due to the unexpected feeling.
"Luce-nee?!" Rin immediately turned to Lucy in alarm as she quickly held her right elbow to steady her. Len was already holding Lucy's left elbow and his face furrowed slightly in worry.
"Sorry…" Lucy was quick to apologize before taking a shuddering breath to calm her nerves. Lucy warily stared at the town not too far from her.
Len and Rin quickly exchange glances before outwardly pushing their aura to be comforting to calm Lucy down.
"Should we leave?" Len inquired as Lucy ponder for a moment. She shook her head.
"No…" Lucy sent Len and Rin a grateful smile as their aura calmed her down. Lucy turned her gaze back to the town.
"..." Lucy frowns as she remembered how strong the aura of distress was. Just as she said that there was a sudden smell of smoke and the town in front of them burst into flames.
"…!" The trio was immediately startled and Lucy quickly snaps her attention to Len.
"Check and see if you could sense anything, Len-kun." Len nods and his eyes flared yellow as a screen appeared in front of him. There were several blinking dots, however, four of them stood out.
"There is someone in town and they're moving around quickly." Len stated before continuing with narrow eyes. "The other three, it seems like two of them is against one nearby the town."
"That means someone must be evacuating the town peoples to safety then." Lucy mumbled to herself.
"…?" Len raised an eyebrow as he noticed a change in the dots.
"One of them seems to disappeared…" Len looked at the screen. "And it combined with another."
"…Alright." Lucy nods before looking at the twins determinedly. "Let's go help them out! We'll gain a better understanding of what's happening."
Len's eyes went back to normal as the screen disappeared and the twins immediately nod. A pair of golden yellow, mechanical-like wings spouted on their backs. Len quickly wraps his arms around her waist to lift her off the ground. Just like that, they quickly head towards the location of the mysterious people.

"Lisanna, what are you trying to do?" A white-haired girl with a ponytail examines in shock. Her body was covered with scratch marks and injuries.
"You couldn't have forgotten about us, right Elf-niichan?" A young, white-haired girl spoke as a smile appeared on her face—although, her eyebrows were slightly furrowed.
"Because both Lisanna and Mira-nee love Elf-niichan." The monster in front of them roared and raised an arm.
"Come, let's go home—" The girl raised both of her arms with a bright and kind expression on her face.
"Elf-niichan!"
Just as the monster was ready to smack her away—something or someone immediately flew to catch her and take her up in the sky.
"Lisanna!" The ponytailed girl shouted as dread filled her body before she shutters out a breath of relief when she spotted Lisanna in the air; unharmed.
"That was super close~" Rin laughs as she held the girl—Lisanna, in her arms.
"A-Arigatou…" Lisanna stuttered in shock.
"No problem~" Rin chirped as she quickly flew down to place her next to the ponytailed girl. The ponytailed girl immediately reached out her head to touch Lisanna's cheek.
"Are you hurt?!" The girl asked worriedly.
"No…I'm fine, Mira-nee." Lisanna shook her head and assured her big sister.
"Yay~! Time to take down the beast!" Rin grins excitedly as her eyes gleamed. The two girls immediately snapped their heads towards Rin.
"Eto! Our brother used a Take Over spell on the beast but…" Lisanna called out as she trailed off worriedly.
"We'll be careful!" A voice says from above and the two girls looked up to see a boy holding a girl. Len came down and set Lucy on the ground.
"Len-kun, Rin-chan! I believe if you knock him unconscious, it should revert him back to normal." Lucy says as Len gave a curt nod and Rin smiles brightly.
"Leave it to us~!" At that, Rin and Len immediately flew towards the beast to distract him from the girls.
"Hello! I'm Lucy! I would love to say it's a pleasure to meet you but under these circumstances, this is not how I imagine our first meeting to be." Lucy gave a small smile as she curtly nods.
"H-Hello…" Lisanna nods in response as well. "I'm Lisanna. And this is my sister, Mirajane…"
Lucy gave a kind smile and turned her attention to the ponytailed girl.
"I can't heal any broken bones but I can at least heal some wounds if you'll allow me?" Lucy tilts her head to the side.
"Y-Yeah…" Mirajane nods as she warily stares at Lucy. Lucy beams and raised both her hands towards her. A bright green light formed underneath Lucy's hands and the wounds on Mirajane immediately starts to slowly heal.

With Len and Rin…
"Roaaaahh!" The beast hollered as Rin and Len floated in front of it. Rin had an easygoing smile on her face while Len stares blankly at the beast in front of him.
"Let's get this done quickly and go back to Luce-nee~" Rin chirped as Len barely tilts his head before nodding curtly.
"Indeed." Len agrees readily. A large and wide yellow circle appeared beneath them and their headphones glowed yellow.
"It's Show Time!"
Their aura burst a bright yellow as colorful imaginary music notes begin to appear around them and immediately begin to dance as the beast immediately recoils from them.
"Rawwwhh!" The beast screeched.
"I kissed a purple butterfly on my right shoulder in a corner of this room—"
"I learn the emotion of grief, as the piano emits on echoing tune of dissonance—"
"I'm having a nightmare, so please wake me up quickly—"
"Everything begins from something minuscule, doesn't it?"
Len sang first as he slowly raised his right hand up to the sky. His right foot was tapping to the rhythm of the song.
If I were asked where I'd like to go, I won't know the answer—"
"for I am lost and missing because I am being allured by the beautiful night—"
Rin immediately harmonizes with him as she continued right after him. The two danced around with each other as the girls on the ground stared up in awe.
"S-Shugoi…" Lisanna's eyes sparkled in awe as she was blown away at the magical stage.
"W-What is that?" Mirajane asked in shock. Lucy merely smiles proudly and brightly as she watches the twins dance with each other.
"It's magic!" Lucy turned to the girls and winks.
"Long eyelashes, crescent eye lines, and shining lips—"
"I kissed a purple butterfly on my right shoulder in a corner of this room—"
"I learn the emotion of grief, as the piano emits on echoing tune of dissonance—"
"Rwaaah!" The beast raised their arms to cover their ears from the twins as it looks like the sound frequency is affecting the beast's head. The beast raised its' left arm to hit the twins but merely end up hitting a barrier that surrounded the twins.
"What has begun to dissolve into my wound? Is it love, or...? Ah—"
"I am frantic with repentance, but I also conjure up just as much pleasure—"
"Please stop me as I'm going out of control, and give me peace and comfort—"
Len raised his right arm as Rin raised her left arm and a yellow, golden orb appeared between their hands. They dropped their arms forward and the orb was shot towards the beast. The beast was immediately enveloped in a bright, white light.
"Please hold my distorted body close to you. Only you will fill it up—"
"Isn't that right? See, you understand it, too! You've already crossed the boundary—"
"I kissed a purple butterfly on my right shoulder in a corner of this room—"

Just as the song was over, the music notes disappeared along with the yellow magic circle underneath them. When the white light slowly vanishes from the beast, there on the floor was an unconscious white-haired male.
Len and Rin flew down to the male and immediately, Rin looks at Len with a grin.
"You can carry him, can't you?" Len gave her an unimpressed expression.
"I am not built or programmed to carry him alone." Len states in a monotonal tone.
"Aw~" Rin gave a mocking smile. "Poor Lenny~"
"…" Len blankly stares at her with a flicker of ire in his eyes.
"…I am leaving."
"Wait! You can't leave me with carrying him!"
"It is none of my concern."
"Wait! Ack! He's heavy! Len, I'm sorry~!"
ﾟ･ ✿ ヾ ╲ (｡◕ ‿ ◕｡) ╱ ✿ ･ﾟ
"Thank you…for saving us. We're really grateful for your help." Mirajane hesitated but bowed deeply as her voice thickened with gratitude.
"T-Thank you…" The male—Elfman, bowed as well. "I'm sorry for the troubles I caused…"
"Thank you for saving me." Lisanna gave a grateful bow towards Rin before curiously looking over at the trio.
"Are you guys in a guild?" Lisanna questioned. Rin and Len tilt their head at the unfamiliar term.
"Guild?" The twins looked up at Lucy expectedly. Lucy giggles in responses as she smiles kindly.
"Guilds are organizations where mages could take jobs or missions, to earn Jewels and raise their publicity. The publicity would help with recruiting mages and putting their guild in a good spotlight." Lucy explained briefly as the twins soaked up the information.
"Wow! You seem to know a lot about guilds." Lisanna praised as Lucy shyly smiles and scratch her cheek in embarrassment.
"Just a little bit. We're not a part of any guild so I can't give an exact information." Lucy said modestly. Lisanna instantly beams at the response.
"We're actually from Fairy Tail! Will you consider joining our guild?" Lisanna asked excitedly as Lucy was surprised but gave a small smile.
"We're flattered but for now, we'll have to decline." Lucy gave an apologetic smile after noticing the disappointed aura surrounding Lisanna. Although, the other two siblings did have a hint of disappointment as well.
"I wanted to explore the world a bit more. And maybe when I'm ready, I'll consider joining your guild." Lucy said as Lisanna's aura instantly became cheery again.
"Really? Let's promise?" Lisanna insisted as she held out her pinky. Lucy laughs but obediently held out her pinky to loop with Lisanna's.
"I promise." Lucy states sincerely as they split up.
"Thank you once again! I hope that we'll see each other again!" Lisanna waved from a distance with a bright smile on her face.
"Thank you." Mirajane gave a small smile and waved with her non-broken arm while Elfman grins and waves.
Lucy continues to wave them goodbye until they could no longer see the siblings.
"Ne, ne, Luce-nee~" Rin wraps her arms around Lucy's waist and peered up with curious eyes. Lucy looked down with a questioning gaze.
"Are you planning on joining the guild once you feel like you explored enough?" Rin raised an eyebrow and Lucy giggles before looking up at the sky.
"I will." Lucy says. "But not now. I want to explore and try to find some Celestial keys."
Lucy turned her attention to the twins with a gentle smile and a wink.
"Besides, I can't always have you guys fighting while I stand on the sideline." Lucy says in a light teasing tone. Rin grins in response while Len gave a small smile as he stood next to Lucy.
"So, where are we heading?" Rin lets go of Lucy and smile widely. Lucy tapped her index finger against her cheek.
"I did hear some rumors that there is a possibility of Taurus's key being around a meadow…"
"There should be a meadow a few towns over." Len stated as Lucy beams and clap her hands together.
"Great! Let's start moving then!" Lucy laughs as the trio continues on their journey.
In one world, Lucy and the twins never came across the Strauss siblings and Lisanna was sucked into the anima.
In another world, Lucy and the twins failed to save Lisanna but defeated the beast.
In this world…
This was just the start of their adventures together.

Well, this concludes the end of the prologue! While working on this story, I'm not exactly sure of the direction I want this to head towards yet but I'm thinking of ideas. You're always welcome to throw some ideas out for me too~
