Snivy, Oshawott, and a few other pokemon have a battle during the pokemon world tournament, however during the battle snivy had an issue battling a deerling. Snivy was unsure why if it was deerling or herself, her vine whip kept missing the deerling, and so Snivys trainer took Snivy out to get examined by the on site doctor, the doctor recommended Snivy get to a pokemon center to get her eyes checked.
Three hours later, after an extensive doctor visit, it was figured out the reason Snivy was struggling in the battle was revealed, turns out her right eye was having problems, the doctor submitted a request for the pokemon eye doctor, Snivy was taken in the back for another exam, and the doctor told Snivy that glasses were going to become necessary. Snivy reacted to the news and went back to the front to tell the others.
The next day, Snivy, Oshawott and their trainer went to pick out Snivys new glasses. Oshawott opted to go in with Snivy to pick out a pair of glasses. The first pair Snivy tried on was a pair of pink emerald frames, Oshawott liked the shininess in the glasses, Snivy was unsure if these were the right pair for her, the next pair was a pair of brown glasses with blue filters, Snivy didn't like the color and put them back on the shelf. It took Snivy ten pairs of glasses tried on, until Snivy found a pair of green glasses with orange fluorescent lenses. Oshawott commented they were shiny, Snivy said to herself, these are my new glasses, so Snivy sent Oshawott back out front to find their trainer to let him know that Snivy found a pair that she liked.
