Standing before my father, I had just told him about my future plans and how I feel about a certain red-haired knight and he said furiously "After all my hard work, this is how you repay me?"
"Father please for forgive me, but this pts something you won't change my mind about"

"But I love her and plan to marry her"
"You haven't even made a name for yourself, and here you go and let yourself become a slave to a woman"

"Just for your information, I've done more then enough for you. And I'm ready to take care of myself. Goodbye father, or whoever you claim to be"
Leaving with nothing but the clothes on my back, I go back to the castle where Jane meets me "How did it go?"

Giving me a loving embrace, she cooed "There, there, it's alright. You'll always have me, because I'm you're family now"
"Will you still marry me even if I have nothing?"
"Even if you were blind and lame, I'd love you just the same."

Separating from our embrace, she takes my callused hand into her warm ones and said warmly "Let's go eat before our dinner gets cold"

With a smile she looks back at me, and giving my hand a light squeeze of reassurance, she said "And I stay around, because you need me."
