Gregory Munslow was lounging in the Hufflepuff Common Room. For the first time he wasn't found in the Transfiguration Classroom, and he was rather enjoying the fact. He pushed his dark hair out of his face when someone entered the common room in a frenzy from the girls' dormitory. Her blonde hair was sticking up in multiple areas, and her clothes were untidy.
"I need to find them…" she muttered to herself. "Why can't I find them!?"
Gregory raised a brow at her and cleared his throat. "Erm, what's the problem, Heidi?"
Heidi shot her head up to Gregory over near the fire and clasped her hands together. "I can't find my flashcards! I need them to practice my part in the Pumpkin Festival!"
"Calm down, Heidi…"
"Don't tell me to calm down! Tell me where my flashcards are!"
"I...don't know where they are." He shrugged. "Sorry."
Heidi looked close to tears and was about to destroy the common room to look for her flashcards until Gregory stopped her. "If you ever need anything, anything at all, and I can do it without moving from this spot, just ask."
She bit her lip and looked around as if it would help her figure out something. "I don't think there's anything that you can do…" Heidi gasped. "I think I figured it out!"
"Well..." Gregory rolled his wrist around in a circle, gesturing for her to spit it out.
"I could rewrite the lines on some more flashcards and practice them!" Heidi exclaimed as if it were obvious. However, her excited demeanor went sheepish when she bit her lip once more and looked at Gregory. "You wouldn't happen to have any flashcards you could loan me? I swear I'll pay you back somehow."
Gregory stroked his chin, looking from the fire to Heidi standing there anxiously waiting for his reply. "So this is like a loan?" He asked for clarity.
Heidi nodded. "Yes, if I could get the flashcards, I'll pay you back."
He reached for his bag and rummaged through the contents for what Heidi was wanting. Once his fingers touched the rough parchment stack of cards, he held them out and passed them along to Heidi. Heidi took the cards and gratefully hugged Gregory.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She said happily before making a sound of victory and rushing back towards the girls' dormitory.
Gregory leaned back in his position near the fire with a goofy grin on his face. He got a hug from Hufflepuff's Chaser all because he was a good sport and loaned her some flashcards; he was definitely happy that he didn't go to the Transfiguration Classroom.
