Wound to the head, blood loss low, many physical wounds made by a blunt weapon on thegameer abdomen and a smashed knee cap. It's obvious. He was poisoned."
"Care to explain?"
"Notice the small needle marks on his arm, those wounds are older than the gunshot wound, that was made after his death. That can be told from the low amount of blood loss. If he had still been alive when he was shot, there would be more blood. The smashed knee cap and blows to the abdomen, however, were dealt before death. So there you have it. Poisoned. How'd I do?"
"Excellent as usual, Junior."
"Please don't call me that. My name is Sherlock Holmes II, and I am the world's newest Consulting Detective."
Hello. I am Sherlock Holmes II. My father, Sherlock Holmes, and my mother, Molly Holmes, fell in love while Father was still working as a Consulting Detective. When I was young, I was taught everything there is to know about the science of Deduction. Now, I have taken my father's place as the newest Consulting Detective, and someday I hope to succeed him. I didn't always feel this way, despite what one might think. It was my cousin who convinced me to take on this role. It all started when I was 23:
"Yes! I win again!" I had just won my twentieth game of the 'Deal or No Deal' arcade game in a row. This was how I decided to use my deduction skills at the time.
"Cousin, don't you think you should make better use of your skills?" Mycroft II asked.
"Nope." I collected my tickets from the machine.
"What are you even doing here, Sherlock?" He asked.
"Winning," I replied.
"Why don't you take a look at this," he handed me a case file. I browsed through it. A murder, bullet wound to the chest, but no bullet in the body.
"Interesting. And you want me to solve this I suppose?" I asked.
"It is up to you. I just advise looking into it. You might enjoy it."
I wanted to hand him the file back. But something stopped me. How would there be a bullet wound with no bullet? I needed to know. Soon. "Fine. Where do I start?"
