Power of Jealousy

Power of Jealousy

--

I heard about this on the news… I thought this would make a sad/good story…

Please read and review.

Ino knew that Sakura loved Sasuke. But heck, she loved him more. She couldn't help the feeling creeping up in her stomach, though, a foul mixture of despise and… jealousy? No.

She COULDN'T be jealous, could she? But she had watched him stare at Sakura… though Sakura didn't know it. No, Sasuke loves INO, Ino reminded herself. Jealousy filled her mind. Ino's mother entered the room, noticing the blonde had been quiet for a while.

" Ino, honey, are you okay?" She asked, gently. " What's wrong?" A tear dripped down her face.

" I… Sakura loves Sasuke, and I think he loves her too, but I love Sasuke!! I'm so jealous!" Ino cried. Her mother took one glance at the computer screen for one second and looked back at the crying girl.

" Okay… Ino, could you please get out of the room for a second? I need to do something really quick."

--

" Ooh! An e-mail from Sasuke?" Sakura's face brightened. " I wonder what it says… Her mouse moved to open the file.

To Sakura:

You're just a sensitive little nothing aren't you? Listen, the world would be so much better without you OR your big, fat FOREHEAD. You have been nothing but trouble, and I hate your guts. Like I said earlier, the world would be better without you.

-Sasuke

Sakura stared at the screen in horror. Tears began spilling down her face.

" Sasuke! How… how COULD you?!" She gulped. A sharp, pointed kunai lay on her desk, and now Sakura was looking at it.

" I love you, mom, I just can't take this… I'm sorry."

The next day, Kakashi appeared on time, and that was how Naruto first figured something was wrong.

" Kakashi-sensei… where's Sakura?" The white haired man looked up somberly and simply handed Sasuke a piece of paper.

" Sakura's mom asked me to give this to you, Sasuke. I figured you guys should know that…"

--

"Sakura is dead?" Ino shrieked. Her mom nodded.

" Ino, I thought you should know. I sent her a fake e-mail…"

--

Dear Sasuke…

I'm sorry that you hate me. I don't know what I did, I thought we were friends, that I was finally getting to know you.

I was wrong, I guess…

I just hope you're reading this, and I hope you won't just throw this away.

I don't mind that you hate me. I just want you to know that I love you with all of my heart.

With love,

Sakura.

Okay… I changed a few things. But the overall plot is basically the same.

Remember, this is a true story. This actually happened.

See how jealousy can twist one's mind? She commit suicide because of something that didn't really happen.

Keep that in mind.
