Dread was written all over his face as he opened the letter. That damned letter that Har-Potter, had so viciously left for him. He steeled his heart and tore open the Potter seal. Inside was the last of what Potter had left for him.

Severus,

By the time you have seen this letter, I will have no doubt have flooed to someone's home and went into hiding. I see your mind working. Hiding from whom, you may ask. Yes, I am hiding from you. Severus, ever since I had the chance to truly know you, my heart was captured by you. Your charisma, your wit, your passion for potions, everything about you made me think that you were perfect. All I ever dreamt about after meeting you again was how you would charm me with every movement.

But ever since that day, that fateful day when you told me that all you wanted from me was sex, my heart wavered. I thought we were getting along to know each other as soul mates. That's what I have been treating you as, my love.

I cannot bear to face you anymore. But no matter where I go, a memory will come into my mind. I cannot take it anymore Severus, I can't. I have decided to go far away where no one knows me. I want to start afresh. Don't try to find me, I know that you won't be able to anyway.

I love you, Severus. Despite everything, I still do.

Hopefully yours forever,

Harry.

Severus froze. Harry actually loved him? His heart sank all the way to the pits of his stomach. He always thought that Harry had never loved him and that he merely wanted to fulfill nightly exploits with him. Not wanting to let Harry slip from his hands, he took the initiative to make his stand about wanting to only maintain a sexual relationship with him only.

Head in his hands, Severus wept for his grave mistakes. After what seemed like eternity but was only an hour, Severus decided that what was done was done and that he should try to rectify it. Packing the few outfits he own into a suitable trunk and with Harry's letter in his coat, he left Hogwarts and set off to find Harry. Both of them were never to be seen again.
