A/N: Crowley considers his next steps. Dean is unimpressed.
King of the Hell
"A crown is merely a hat that lets the rain in" - Frederick the Great
Crowley rubbed his hands together in glee and laughed. Okay, so that was more a clichéd cackle, but this is a special occasion.
His musings were interrupted by Dean's tortured croak. "So you're back as King of Hell; what're you gonna do now?"
Crowley smirked. "There's plenty to do! Like... consolidate my power..."
He paused, struggling to think of something else to say.
"Yeah, whatever," Dean snorted, "it all sounds pretty empty."
Crowley rolled his eyes as he prodded at his captive with hot irons. "Well, as long as I get to rain on your parade; that's enough for me."

November Rain
"So if you want to love me, then darlin' don't refrain, or I'll just end up walkin', in the cold November rain" – 'November Rain' - Guns N' Roses
"Wait!" shouted Dean, panicked by Sam's departure. He gulped in relief when his brother stopped.
"Don't go. Please." He laid a hand on Sam's shoulder. "You know how Dad gets. Besides, it's pouring down out here."
"I'm sorry," said Sam, shrugging off Dean's grasp. "I just... can't."
Dean stood frozen, blinking in hurt and confusion, as Sam trudged off into the rain.
"Let him go, he'll come back when he's ready," said John, from behind the screen door.
Dean nodded, unable to speak.
He watched, unaware of getting soaked, as Sam disappeared from sight.
He hoped his dad was right.
