Castiel's day out.
One day when Balthazar was walking around in heaven, long before Dean and Sam were on the scene, he was thinking how Castiel had never been to Earth. True he was still young and hadn't even finished his training yet, but Balthazar believed it was time Castiel should see the world that their father had made for the Humans.
Balthazar found Castiel sitting in one of his favourite heavens, the black haired little angel sat in a garden staring at the flowers lovingly. Balthazar never understood Castiel's love of flowers, maybe it was because he discovered them by himself, no one told Castiel what flowers where and when he found them he couldn't believe that such small things held so much life in them. As soon as Balthazar was in sight of Castiel the little angel ran to his side and stared up at him with a little smile on his face, Castiel rarely smiled mostly because he was to busy thinking, he was always very serious about everything.
"greetings Cas, how has your day been?" Balthazar asked, he missed the days when he was that young, not having to worry about a prophecy or deal with demons.
"its been good, I have been able to stay in the air for 10 minuets now" Castiel beamed, Castiel was always shy about his wings when he was just a fledgling, they were always too big and darker than everyone else but as he grew older and he started getting his training Castiel found that having bigger and stronger wings was a blessing.
"I can tell there looking stronger" Cas's smile grew, he always loved getting complements for Balthazar "I was thinking about how you hadn't been to earth yet, and I wondered if you would like to pop down, for a little trip" Castiel stood shocked for a moment.
"yes I would love to but wouldn't we have to find people to go in" Balthazar laughed at the way Castiel explained it.
"no there is another way but no human can see us, so they wont get hurt" Balthazar's heart went out for Castiel some times being so young and cute, and plus Castiel had these big Blue eyes that are just the cutest, that Balthazar believes that god, his father, specifically chose them for Cas.
Balthazar took a hold of Castiel's hand, and took him to Earth. He travelled everywhere Castiel wanted to go, they went to beaches, north pole, Hawaii anywhere Cas could think of. They finally ended up in Lawrence, Kansas.
"I'm not exactly allowed to tell you this but one day 2 humans are going to be born here and help save Earth many times" Balthazar informed Castiel.
"really" the other angel nodded "wow, do you think i'll get to meet them?" Castiel asked his older brother.
"maybe, if you're good and stick in with your training I don't see why not" Castiel seemed happy with his answer and lay down on a bit of grass at a park.
Balthazar enjoyed these moments when Castiel wasn't being extremely serious and was just relaxing and enjoying himself because Balthazar could tell that one day, maybe many years in the future that Castiel was going to do something great.
