A new day, A new RWBY story. Isn't that just great?!

This particular story, I got the idea from a Manga named "Kimi Shi ni Tamau Koto Nakare" which also means, "Thou Shalt Not Die". It's a Seinen manga and it's gory as well as interesting. Not for the faint of heart at least!

Anyways, I'll be borrowing a few of things from it, if you don't mind, so here goes the story!

Name: Cyan Hypnos

Age: 15

Semblance: Unknown. Suspected to be Hypnosis due to both name and shown abilities.

Currently in Holding cell B34.

The Police Officer read the sheet of paper for the thousandth time that day as he walked down a corridor. It wasn't that he hadn't already memorised it; he just needed to be sure. That boy was scary when it came to seeing past words uttered from the mouth.

As he walked down stairs, he could only hope that nothing out of the ordinary occurred. It was still his first moth on the job; he was eager to make a good impression. He passed his Boss's office, not noticing something strange through the window. Not realising the fact that the same boy that he had been heading for was sitting in the Chief's seat.

"You're pretty big for a boy your age..."

A sucking noise continued under the table.

The boy did not respond, just reading over the files on her desk; files about himself. There wasn't really much to look at, seeing as the files had been tampered with already by himself. He could get into trouble with the police as much as he wanted and they would still never be able to even touch a hair on his head...

Well, not unless you counted the Chief under the table.

"Still not ready yet?"

The boy ignored her; instead he began to stack the reports about him together and opened a different file.

One marked: Ruby Rose.

He smiled as his interest perked up. It wasn't an actual police report; just different things that had happened to her in the time he had been away. He only had the right to know. After all, his obsession with her wasn't something he could hope to tame any longer. As he caught up to date, he couldn't help but growl when he saw a man that he was deeply uncomfortable with.

A certain Professor Ozpin.

He wanted to rip the sheet of paper in half, but he quickly controlled his sudden urge of destruction and continued reading. It made him so angry again that he indeed ripped the paper into pieces.

"That fucking bastard..." He growled, but once again he cooled himself enough to calmly reason with himself. At that moment, a police officer walked in.

"Excuse me, Ma'am but the subject has-"

He stopped in shock when he saw what was in front of him. The Chief on her knees underneath the table, the boy reading files at her desk... This was disgusting. How could she do this to someone? He wasn't even of age yet; what was she-

A voice seemed to whisper in his head that simply made him obey. It wasn't like he was being forced to comply... It was more of him agreeing with the word and doing what it said.

Begin removing her clothes.

So he did. The Chief was also seemingly complying to whatever instruction he had given her. She got out from under the table and crept over to him to give him quite the sloppy kiss. Hormones began to take over as they continued to fondle and feel each other. The boy had gotten up from the table, zipped up his pants and was ready to leave.

As he opened the door, he turned and gave a transparent smile as his final order resounded within their minds.

Fuck the shit out of each other.

As the boy left, there was simply the noises of pleasure resounding through the station & the quiet whistle of his own...

Cyan Hypnos was a strange kid.

From an early age, he had had a powerful sense of intuition. He was one who could 'read any situation'. Communication was, of course, not only in just words. In fact, only 7% of all meaning in communication is derived from words. The other 93% include 35% of voice & 58% of body language. The boy's ability to 'sympathise' with his surroundings was sharper than countless other people put together.

Trivial gestures.

Eye movement.

Word choices.

Condition of surroundings.

Scent of sweat.

Good and bad intentions.

Everything equally was revealed to the boy. It was a world that nothing couldn't be unheard and it was a complete nightmare. There was no way to simply shut one's ears to the never-ending sound of voices.

But everything changed when he accepted the voices around him. It was like he suddenly knew whatever people wanted in their hearts. Now, he could control them.

Sex, Gambling, Murder, Money, Power.

He gained a world in which everything just worked out for him. If he wanted it a certain way, it simply happened because he controlled it to.

But.

Satisfying his every desire, as well as seeing too much of people's dark side... Their lust, greed and absolute disregard for one another... It killed him. His emotions were gradually eaten away and there was nothing left of him.

So he quit being human. He did what he wanted, simply out of a force of habit. Money, women, murder. He simply couldn't care less, so it happened. He no longer saw the meaning in life nor death; instead merely existing, letting himself be swept away.

Until he met her.

Someone he couldn't read, suddenly appeared before him. It cleared away the darkness of other people's thoughts, like a single star in the endless black torture.

Ruby Rose.

To describe her in a single word would be... Discord.

Although her gaze may falter, her hand movements were relaxed. Her sweat smelled of 'joy', while choosing a 'sad' colour. It was the first time Cyan had ever met someone he couldn't 'read' like a book. Her book seemed to be shut closed and sealed in a safe that he could only pray to be opened. It didn't take long for him to become mesmerised by her. It had gone from a simple interest to borderline stalking. Except he still had the decency to act as a normal person beside her as well as give her a little privacy himself. He wasn't about to start collecting samples of her saliva or different underwear that she wore in order to sniff them.

He also knew where she lived, roughly. As one to understand limits to his obsession, he hadn't gone to her house to set up cameras all over their property.

He soon found out that she went to Signal Academy; at the time he had not been going to any Academy. But that mattered little when you were most likely one of the top 3 richest people on the planet, had shares in almost every political party and business and nobody knew you.

He forged documents, falsified school reports, gave himself the average score tests in order to match her grade, charmed interviewers and was able to get in halfway through the first term. From the moment he met her, he was always by her side and continued to observe her behaviour. He poured everything he had in order to protect her and carefully removed the seeds of uneasiness at school.

It seemed that some of them would never be returning from 6 feet under. He had gotten rid of her bullies for good in her sister's place. He had become a sort of Shadow Knight, so she would never find out.

He could also admit that it was a hard task for himself to do. Anyone would reveal their true intentions whenever Cyan spoke. That's why he hid his own intentions by lying. But Ruby was different of course.

As long as he was by her side, he could be the human he once was.

And Oum so help anyone that dared try to take her from him. Come Heaven, Hell, or high water, he would happily take on Satan and God just for her existence.

A certain black with red tips haired girl read the text across her Scroll. Coming to a stop under a lone streetlight that was flickering every so often.

"He said this was the meeting place..." She murmured, looking around in the darkness. The light flickered once more and something over-shadowed her.

"Hey Ruby."

Ruby turned and squealed in delight, jumping at him in a bear-hug. Cyan fell over; still not completely used to her delicate body flying at him at speeds which would even knock over a grown man. After giving him said hug, she sat up on his chest and fired a barrage of words at him.

"Where have you been, Cyan?! I've missed you for so long, you never even told me where you went, It's been so lonely without you-"

Cyan's finger to her lips shut her up quickly. Moving back her head with a pout, she watched the grin on his face widen.

"Glad to be back, Rubes. You missed me, huh?" Cyan repeated, causing her to blush lightly.

"Of course I missed you dummy... You're my best friend." Ruby replied, "Pretty much my only friend."

"Oh? What happened to the others?" Cyan said, though he pretty much knew from speculation.

"They didn't want to hang with me anymore. Said I was hogging you to myself and being selfish... Was I really though?"

Cyan attempted to sit up on his arms as he answered her:

"I'm not some sort of toy that can be hogged Rubes; if I want to be with you, I will. Simply because you're the only girl that interests me. They're simply jealous because of their delusions that I'm probably the most most handsome boy in their class."

"It's been confirmed that you are by almost every girl in the school, Cyan. It's cold, hard truth."

"They can believe what they want Rubes; I only care about what you want."

She gave him a hard look, but after a while hugged him once more; gently this time. Cyan let out a genuine smile as he placed a hand over her head softly.

"I really did miss you. Why did you leave all of a sudden?"

"Can't say Rubes. If I did, I might find myself dead all of a sudden."

Her head shot up with an angry look. He mentally winced as it was a touchy spot of turf for her.

"Don't joke about stuff like that! I don't want you to die too!"

"Don't worry Rubes, I'm not going nowhere. Not now, not ever. I'll always be by your side." He reassured her.

"Promise me."

At first Cyan hesitated at the task, but quickly gave up upon seeing her face.

"... I promise it."

"Pinky swear!"

Ruby held out her pinky which Cyan met with his own.

"Pinky swear."

"Good... Anyways, I've got something to tell you."

Cyan gave an interested look; his head falling to one side.

"I'm... Going to Beacon."

Cyan gave a surprised look. He should have known that was what Ozpin wanted with her. After all, silver eyes were a wanted people; said to be able to change the world with mere thoughts.

"Seriously? When are you going?"

"With Yang in a few weeks time."

"Wow... Well done, Rubes! That's amazing!"

"I know right! It's totally awesome, but..."

She dropped off the ending as her head drooped. He patted her head in order to soothe her.

"Your scared right? You have no idea what to expect, what new people you'll meet, what new friends you'll make. It'll be the biggest experience that you've ever had."

"... Everything you said. But, the biggest problem is..." Ruby looked up at him with sad eyes. "You won't be there to do my homework for me."

Cyan couldn't help but laugh. He really couldn't get a read on this girl.

"What's so funny?! I'm telling the truth here! You always used to help me and do at least 3/4 of it, but now I'll have to try my hardest by MYSELF! Don't you understand my predicament!" She shouted at him, shaking him by his t-shirt. Cyan gradually stopped his laughter.

"That's your biggest concern? I'm honestly amazed."

"Of course! How am I gonna keep up with school work now?!"

A Scroll began ringing; the Scroll belonging to Ruby. She answered it quickly as her Father was on the line. Cyan meanwhile looked towards a building to see a figure on the roof. He almost growled as he realised who it was.

"Okay, dad. Se ya!"

Ruby got off the phone and off of Cyan, who also got up after her. She looked angry and had a cute pout on her once more.

"Dad said I had to go and find Yang." She huffed, pocketing her Scroll. "She's probably blowing up a night club anyways."

"I'll bet. Did you tell Taiyang I'm back?"

"No. I'll tell Yang and Dad later." She said, giving him her final hug. She released him after as she turned to leave "See ya!"

Cyan waved her off until she was out of sight. Then, he turned around to see a man with silver hair, small glasses, a green scarf, a cane and piercing eyes.

"Hello Cyan. It's been a long time since I've seen you." He greeted politely, even adding a smile. Cyan gave the fiercest look he gave, but it didn't seem to faze the man in the slightest.

This was the second person he couldn't read. The man was shrouded in mysteries. Mysteries that Cyan couldn't probe.

"I thought I said that if I ever saw you again, I would kill you." Cyan retorted in barely controlled anger.

"Oh, please calm down, would you. It's not as if you can actually carry out that threat." Ozpin said, continuing closer to the enraged boy.

"Oh are you so sure about that?" Cyan replied, releasing his Aura in an explosive manner. Ozpin raised an eyebrow at the increase in energy from the boy.

"Oh? A deal with the devil?" Ozpin said, in his polite tone. "You certainly know how to try and push my buttons."

"Don't fuck with me, you shitty wizard. This power is mine to command and control. You're a failure to humanity- AARGH!"

Ozpin hadn't done anything at all. Cyan had just started screaming and fell to the ground as something lit up on his back. Ozpin frowned as he walked closer, he realised what it was.

It was only a curse mark that was slowly turning him into a Grimm.

The boy had obviously not counted on being betrayed by his accomplice. Ozpin could only imagine the pain that the boy had felt when he had been branded with it. He was now biting at his own skin in an attempt to stop his own screaming. Ozpin traced the diamond curse mark on Cyan's back with a small mutter. The light turned from angry red to a soft green as it stopped it's progress.

"That should help you for now." Ozpin noted, about to turn away from Cyan who seemed to have passed out. "Hopefully you will learn from making such grave mistakes in the future."

As Ozpin was about to walk away, a hand grabbed his foot tightly.

"What is it now, boy?"

"... Beacon..."

"I'm sorry, but there is no way in which I would be able to understand what you have just said."

Cyan raised his head to see Ozpin once more.

"Let me go to Beacon."

Ozpin raised his eyebrow once more.

"Of course you can. I'll see you in two years, boy."

The hand gripped Ozpin tighter.

"You know what I mean Ozpin."

Ozpin gave a sigh as he turned round to look at the boy on the ground beneath him.

"I will not entertain your unhealthy infatuation with Ms. Rose."

"Just accept me, bastard. I need her to undo this shitty curse. It's not like a failed wizard cursed by the Gods with no power can- OWW!"

Ozpin had tapped his cane on Cyan's back in order for the boy to watch his mouth.

"I still have more than enough power to deal with an insect such as yourself."

Cyan laughed at his retort.

"I know what you want, Ozpin and I want it to. It's the best for humanity anyways."

"And why would you suddenly care about Humanity?"

"I don't. I care about two things right now: Ruby and this damn curse."

"We're done, boy."

"Heh. This is the man who once had an unhealthy obsession with me."

"That... Was a long time ago."

"That was 7 years ago, Ozpin. What the hell are you thinking about?"

"Sorry, but I will not allow you into my Academy earlier than you should be. Goodbye."

Ozpin kicked off the boy's hand and began to walk back into the darkness.

"One more thing Ozpin. Salem's in the lead."

Ozpin stopped abruptly.

"What... Did you just say?"

"You heard me the first time, Ozzy."

"I said repeat it!" Ozpin screamed in a rare display of emotion.

Cyan gave a look of surprise that turned into raw cunning. He finally had a foothold on Ozpin.

"Salem is going to take you down for good. She's got certain people on her side. People that you thought were dead."

"Who boy?! Tell me quickly!"

"Ah, ah, ah! This is a negotiation, isn't it? Let me into the School and I'll tell you."

"Boy, this isn't the time for games-"

"Who said this was a fucking game Ozpin. I have information that you desperately need to win this war."

Ozpin huffed as he contemplated what he should do. He finally reached a verdict within himself.

"Does your information... Include where she is?"

"No... But it includes an abandoned facility which she used to experiment Grimm on. As well as the scientists & accomplices who are still working for her.

"Then it is done. You will be heading off to Beacon with Ruby. I'll even let you get on the same air-ship as her." Ozpin said, turning and walking away briskly.

"You better hold to that Ozpin."

"As if I have a choice. You're too dangerous to let out of my sight anyways."

"Whatever floats your boat..."

"Oh. My. SWEET OUM!" A blonde haired girl screamed as she took pictures with her Scroll. "My sister and her boyfriend are going to Beacon with me! Isn't this Amazing?!"

Excitement. Surprise. 'This is just great'. 'Time to see my sister grow up'. 'Is she gonna finally pick her man for real?'

Yang had to be one of the easiest people to read that he had ever met. Every emotion was always on her face and she couldn't tell a lie to save her life. Which was a good thing, seeing as he didn't want to have to potentially damage the older sibling of his obsession. She also seemed to acknowledge him as the only man she would let near her sister; which he was grateful for. He hadn't even needed to hypnotise her in order for it to happen.

"Yang, if you keep talking like that, people will get the wrong idea." Ruby said to her sister, who was still snapping away with her Scroll.

"Get the wrong idea about what? It's not as if I don't hear you moaning his name in your sleep. It can get very-"

Ruby slapped shut her sister's mouth as her face turned crimson. Cyan was smiling wistfully at the scene.

"It's only ever happened once! I'm sorry, okay?!" Ruby shouted at him, revealing to everyone on the ship that it had actually happened. As a few heads began turning and a few whispers began to get louder, Cyan worked his magic once more.

Soon enough, everyone didn't know who Ruby was once more... All except Yang.

"Come one, Ruby! Aren't you excited? You skipped two whole years! That's probably the greatest achievement in this School!"

"I thought that Ozpin being the youngest headmaster was the biggest achievement?" Cyan interjected, but he was ignored by the girls.

"I am excited, but... I don't want to be seen as special."

Yang gave a warm smile to her sister as she put her arm around her.

"But Rubes... With this hunk of a boyfriend, you're the most special person here."

Ruby blushed red once more as she pushed off her sister. Cyan rolled his eyes as the sisters before looking over at the broadcast.

"The robbery was led by nefarious criminal Roman Torchwick, who continues to evade authorities. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please contact the Vale Police Department. Back to you, Lisa."

Cyan remembered that the incident with Roman Torchwick had actually been Ruby's doing. He felt a small swell of pride knowing that his most interested person had actually tangles with a dangerous criminal and lived to tell the tale. He nudged her which caused her to blush even harder now that she knew that he knew about what had happened. She had long given up on knowing how Cyan seemed to know everything about her.

"Thank you, Cyril. In other news, this Saturday's Faunus Civil Rights protest turned dark when members of the White Fang disrupted the ceremony. The once peaceful organisation has now disrupted..."

As another woman that Cyan recognised as the shitty Wizard's receptionist interrupted the news cast, Cyan tuned out of his surroundings. He had already paid Ozpin more than enough to not be placed on a team; dimwits would only be in his way. His only goal was to understand the peculiar entity called Ruby Rose. Nothing could stand in his way.

"Gross, gross, gross, gross, gross, gross, gross, gross!"

Cyna turned to see Yangt hopping on one foot due to vomit on her other boot. With a roll of his eyes he took some tissue and cleaned her boot. Then, turning to the boy he had seen vomiting, he flicked the tissue in the guy's face. When he turned, he was punched in the stomach by Ruby and forced to apologise for it. He obeyed.

Cyan concluded that it would indeed be a rough time for him at such a prestigious academy.
