I'm sorry, I know this probably isn't allowed to be posted here, but I'm DESPERATE to find this story again!
It was AU, a Brooke and Lucas fic. Basically Lucas is a detective or a cop of some sort, I really can't remember Brooke's occupation. But in the beginning Lucas finds a dead body in Brooke's house, thinks its her, but it's actually her cousin Theresa. And whoever killed Theresa (who is Chris Keller, I believe) wanted these diamonds that Haley is in charge of, and she gave one to Brooke and one to Peyton. And basically Brooke and Lucas kept trying to fight their attraction for each other, and they go to a party together, and Brooke meets Chris Keller, and he suddenly decides he's meant to be with her, and Lucas is really jealous of it.
I think it was called "Seeing it Through", Does ANYONE know where it went?
