Ultimate Hermione Pairing: Hermione/Viktor Krum

If You Dare Challenge: Prompt: 445: Pasta strainer

Hermione watched Viktor move around their kitchen with a small smile playing on her lips. She was biting back a laugh because she knew that he had no clue what a lot of the things in their kitchen was. She smiled at him as she walked by him to take something off one of the peg boards she had set up in the kitchen. "If you will sit down, Viktor, dinner will be ready in a few minutes."

Viktor looked at the contraption that Hermione was holding in her hands and frowned. "What is that in your hands, love?"

Hermione chuckled as she looked at Viktor over her shoulder. "It is called a pasta strainer, dear. I'm going to take the pasta off of the stove and drain the water from it so that it will not be soggy and/or watery when we eat it here shortly."

Viktor nodded. "I would have taken you out to dinner tonight, Hermione. You shouldn't be having to slave over a hot stove on our three year anniversary."

Hermione shook her head. "I wanted to cook for the simple reason that this is the our first night in our brand new house without anyone else around, Viktor. I know that we could go out or order in, but I want tonight to be special for us.

Viktor smiled as he walked over to Hermione and kissed her on the head. He understood what she was trying to say to him. "I understand, love. Do you need any help?"

Hermione chuckled. "The last time you tried to help me cook we had to end up eating out. So, the answer to your question is a hell no. If you really want to help then you can open up the wine and pour us each a glass."

Viktor kissed Hermione on the head once more and did just that. He may not know how to cook, but he did know how to open up wine and pour it. He couldn't be any happier than he was at the moment because he finally had the woman he loved living with him and he was never going to let her go. He set the two glasses of wine on their dining room table and then walked back into the kitchen and over to Hermione. When he saw that she wasn't busy with anything right that second he wrapped his arms around her from behind. "Have I told you how much I love you today, Hermione? Well even if I did let me tell you again. I love you with my whole heart and soul."

Hermione leaned back into Viktor and lifted one of his hands to her mouth and kissed it. "I love you too, Viktor, and I always will. I'm so happy that we're living together now."

Viktor lifted Hermione's face up to his after he turned her around in his arms and kissed her slowly and deeply. "I'm happy that we're living together too. I will always love you."

Hermione smiled lovingly up at Viktor and kissed him once more before she got back to finishing up their dinner. She wanted to make sure that their first meal in their new house was perfect so she couldn't let him distract her no matter how much she may want too.
