(First story I have done, and reviews would be greatly appreciated. But please be kind.)
It was early spring and a light breeze was blowing. Marcus Fenix and the rest of Delta Squad were sent out into the middle of the forest in search of remaining Locust soldiers still on the surface. Even though they were almost wiped off of Sera, they are still as strong as or maybe even stronger than they were 2 years later. Marcus wanted to forget Dom's death. But he knew that the only way he was going to be remembered is if they killed every last Locust off of Sera. "Where are we going? I thought we would be taking the year off so we could kick our feet up and relax." Baird wined. Everyone was tired of his constant whining ever since they were sent out to exterminate remaining locust a couple weeks after the war. "For the last time, we going to find more Locust outpost and kill everything there. Now quit your bitching." Marcus replied. "What you complaining about, baby? You're with the Cole Train! No bitch- ass would want to fuck with me! WOOOO!" Cole replied. "That's reassuring." ,Baird muttered, "Why did we have to walk anyways? Why didn't they just-" "What the hell is that?" Marcus yelled. Delta Squad looked over and saw a gigantic ship appearing to crash land. The ship was much bigger than any COG aircraft, but it didn't appear to be Locust either. The ship crash landed with a deafening thud.
"C'mon, let's go check it out." Marcus commanded them. As they reached the ship, they noticed something odd. "Where's the Pilot?", Clayton Carmine asked, "You think he's in the ship somewhere?" "No idea about that, but I did find the way in. Jack, get the door open." Marcus told to the small bot. Jack beeped a few times and proceeded to open the door. After about five minutes, the doors fell from their place and were lying on the ground. Inside were a couple of odd beds with a protective glass door that covered the beds. All of the beds were empty. All of them, except for one. "Marcus, check this out." Baird said with astonishment in his voice. Inside was a large green man that was either asleep or dead. "I'm going to see if I can find out what this thing is." Baird told Marcus. "Don't push any buttons." , Marcus muttered, remembering the mess Baird got them into when he pushing random buttons, "Hey Carmine, what do you think that thing is?" "I don't know, but I know he isn't human. It might be an-" he was cut off by the sound of machines powering up. "Baird what the fuck did you just do!" Marcus yelled. "Nothing! The thing just came on by itself!" The men argued a minute or so until the saw a small blue lady that seemed to be naked come onto a computer terminal. "What the hell?" Carmine said, sounding like he was out of breath. "What planet are we on?", the woman asked. "Sera.", Baird said in an amazed voice. "Impossible. Sera was glassed. How did you survive?", The woman asked in a confused voice. "What the hell are you talking about?" Marcus said. "I will tell you later. Are you friendly? Will you help us?" The woman asked with hope in her voice. "Sure. Just as long as you tell us anything you know." Marcus said. "Fine with me." The woman said, relieved that she would be safe. "Chief, I need you." Delta Squad was wondering what she meant until they heard another machine go off and noticed that the large green man slowly started to move.
