He was a lost boy since the day he was born. Since he was two and he did is first act of magic, while his father looked on with scornful eyes. When he was 8 and he tried to drown out the sounds of his parents fighting. His mother a little puddle. His father and overwhelming wave. When he was 9 and made his first friend. When he was 11 and made his first enemies. The first day he ever made potion. When he was 15 and lost his first friend. When he was 17 and went to the nameless one. When he was 20 and he held his dead friend in his arms, as her baby cried on. When he was 32 and had to teach that child. When he was 38 and that child held his lifeless body in his own arms while looking into his past. As you can see he's been a lost boy since the start and until the end.
