The Not So Perfect Land of Howrse

A young, talented rider named Adriana seeks out a place called Howrse, known as "The Perfect Land of Horses." But what if that 'perfect' land wasn't so perfect after all? Will she give up or strive to be Number 1? Read to find out! Story is better than summary.

Hi guys! I know I've got Kung Fu Panda fiction I need to finish, but I seem to be suffering from writer's block... However, I noticed there were no Howrse fanfics, so I decided to change that! Apologies if it is horrible! Basically, it will kind ofbe the story of my character's journey through Howrse, but written in third person. Also, I will not directly use players' usernames without their permission first. Enjoy the read! :D

A 13 year old girl named Adriana walked down the narrow, rocky forest trail. Her straight, waist-length auburn hair gently swayed from side to side in the breeze. In her battered suitcase, she carried her only possessions: her clothes, her boots, chaps, and a helmet. After all these were all she needed to seek out Howrse, known as "The Perfect Land of Horses." After hours of climbing through the terrain, she finally sighted the sign. She strolled up to the gate to be greeted by a short, pudgy monkey.

"Hello, there," greeted the monkey. "My name is Ow. I'm going to help you get around here. First, I'm going to have to have you fill out this form."

"Thank you," breathed Adriana. She carefully filled out the form:

Name: Adriana Walker

Date of Birth: March 12, 1999

Sponsor: None

Home Country: USA

Emergency Contacts: None

"Alright, Adriana. Now come with me and choose your very first horse." As he said this, a long line of beautiful ponies of all colors appeared. However, one in particular captured Adriana's attention. It was a young, chestnut, Hackney foal.

"Who's this beauty?" she asked.

"This little girl doesn't have a name yet. If you want her, you get to name her!"

"Really... How about... about.. Ramus!"

"Ramus is a fine name, young lady. Now I will show you to your dorm room and your adventure in Howrse will begin."

"Alright!" Adriana cheered and then skipped behind Ow into the land of Howrse.
