-A War Within the Heart-
( A Casavir poem)
Strong and full of virtue
A golden aura of divine light surrounds you
Battling enemies mercilessly
Going into a battle frenzy
Charging forward with might
And smiting that which isn't right
To rid the world of evil and save the day
Its all for the greater good, you say
But where does that leave your heart?
Afraid of letting your emotions part
To the outside world
Not wanting to let those feelings unfurl
To a point at which you feel you cannot control
You're hiding away the beauty of your soul
When you close yourself off in that fashion
You become trapped inside, weary and undone
So when someone gets near to you
You don't know what to do
Come close to me
Be not afraid of your feelings within thee
For you may find some flicker of light
That keeps you warm at night
Let me be the one
To show you that love is inferior to none
