Solvin x Ayesha

The Burning Shadow and the Bear Cub

Chapter 1: The shadows and Divine meet

This was typical of Skyrim, rainy. The sounds of rain pattered on the roof of a small shack out in the woodlands of the Falkreath hold. Lonely, the cabin stood, with nothing but a few fell trees around it and a small garden. There, on the door though, was a red hand.
Inside, a Dunmeri female lay on her bed. One hand rested behind her head and the other rested on the thick back of her large, Vale Saber Cat. Both were relaxed, eyes closed and listening to the sounds of the rain, pattering on the roof. Her robes blew gently, as the window was open. She looked at the fluttering robes, the red hand print waving along with the sleeves and body of it.

"What a day, right boy?" Ayesha, the Dunmer, turned her head to look down at the large beast that lay next to the bed. She ran her hand over his eyes and laughed a little as he shook his head playfully, responding with a flop and yowl. "You're acting like you don't know what I'm saying Markandeya." With that, she stood up and her cat followed, wiggling his thick bobtail.
She leaned up against the wall, looking out another window, but squinted. What was that in the distance? Why would someone be walking around Falkreath, in this weather? Why would anybody, in their right mind, walk in this weather?!

Quickly, she backed into a corner and a dark fog filled the room. Dark whispers and angry moans filled the fog as the voice of Sithis began to echo. Tattoo burning, she perked up; taking the clear warnings that Sithis was giving her.

Finally, a knock on the door, and a questioning hello… but it sounded like a male nord. Of course, Ayesha didn't like anyone at all, just the few people she knew in the Brotherhood. She ignored the knock at first, but motioned to Markandeya to let out one of his powerful roars on the second knock. "Hopefully that'll chase him away." Ayesha thought, but no, another knock. Finally, she used her telekinesis spell to open the door slowly, and let him in.

The man stepped through the door, and Ayesha waited for the shadows to take him to the void, but no. The shadows dissipated as a strange, divine glow surrounded his feet, pushing the darkness away. She looked up at him with her angry, red eyes and so did her cat.

"Who… are you?" Ayesha questioned, her cat pushing next to her, growling at the stranger.
"I'm Solvin… Solvin Bear-Skin is my name miss." He replied. The blonde nord looked down at the Dunmer girl with his bright blue eyes.
