Happy Valentine's Day! Since I have no girlfriend (T_T) I have time to write a little Skimmons one-shot for the holiday! Enjoy!

Everything seemed to go more than ok for Skye that Valentine's Day. She didn't know who, but someone had been doing her little favors all day.

The first amazing thing that happened that day was that when she started to pour lucky charms, her favorite cereal, into a bowl, the entire box was made up of the colorful marshmallows. It was probably the best breakfast she'd ever had. When May had walked into the kitchen area, she looked at Skye funny because Skye was supposed to be eating healthier for her training, but Skye didn't care at all.

The team had the day off and the bus was just coasting open airspace, so Skye returned to her bunk to spend the day on Netflix and social media. She was surprised when she opened her laptop to find that someone had changed her desktop background while she was eating breakfast. Little hearts with smiley faces on them that made Skye grin covered the screen. Skye even noticed the nice smell in her room and discovered that the source was a small vase with a single rose sitting on her nightstand.

Little things kept happening all of that day. May forced Skye to come train, but the punching bag was missing and in its place was a small heart with the words "You're Welcome." printed by a computer on the back.

It was when Skye went to get lunch that she was almost positive who her admirer was. Her favorite sandwich was in the fridge with her name on it and she knew there was only one person who would have made it: Simmons. Skye brought her laptop down to the lab and chatted with Fitzsimmons for the rest of the day, trying to figure out by Jemma's actions and words if it was her. After Skye had arrived, Jemma suddenly became klutzy, tripping and bumping into everything and nearly dropping several specimens. Skye smiled knowingly and continued typing away at her computer.

She knew for sure that it was Jemma Simmons that night when she retired to her bunk. On the way, she saw Simmons exiting the small room, looking both directions before hurrying off to the lab. Skye slipped into her bunk and smiled at the little box on her pillow. They were the little valentines message heart candy that she loved so much and hadn't had for years. She slid her finger under the tab and opened up the cardboard box.

Skye finished the small box of candy, all except for one piece. Before Jemma returned from the lab, Skye slipped into the biochemist's bunk and placed the small heart with the words "call me" on her pillow before sneaking off to her own bunk and falling asleep with a smile on her face.
